the block colours make this a very bold peice, however, the colours arn't mearly flat. the fact that there's some texture and udulation in the tone makes it all the more complelling. indeed, the fact that you've sought to mix the colours a little (most notably in the case of the red and orange squares) allows them to sit all the more comfortably with one another.
the layout takes the lyric at face value and the manner in which the charater and stylized backgroud interact to illustrrait this is pretty niffty. there's also somethign pretty quirky about the combination of scruffy, unrefined pencli drawing composiong th efigure's body and the more worked into kettel.
