Description Good evening all! Here's a shot I took last week in Pellinge (an islet outside Porvoo in Finland) laying down on my belly on the rock. PS-work: crop, blue tone, different layer styles and frame. This is a farewell to all the ice photos, as I don't think I will manage to capture any more of these if the weather continues like it has during the week.

Hope you like it. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

i think the air bubbles and light reflection make this top notch, sense of flowing movement also very strong..

Thank you. I have the Canon EOS 20D and several lenses. In this shot I used my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens.

I have tried different colour tints, but to me the blue is best suiting to cold ice.

This is amazing - ice looks like a real , living thing ! I could almost image how it moves - and this soft glow is only adding to this
