I have a thing for bugs...and paintings of bugs. I especially like this, because although it is definitely abstract I can still feel the insect vibe. Its far more than a photo can ever be...emotions and movement and feeling can be expressed so beautifully and completely.

I liked it so much that I decided to feature it in a news article I put together here [link] about traditional abstract art on DA. I hope you don't mind!

Some strange bug with what appears to be large holes on its wings. I took a photograph of it in the Everglades National park.
