Description A possible plot device for the Sonic comic, and an idea I’ve had ever since Archie mentioned revisiting the robotization immunity.

While rebuilding his roboticizer, Dr. Eggman brainstormed about undoing the effects of the Bem’s mass de-robotization. Suddenly, he began to recall the day Lien-Da and the Dark Legion came to him after Enerjak transformed their cybernetic limbs back to flesh and blood. Then, he remembered his recent attack on Sonic and the Freedom Fighters, and how Bunnie D’Coolette had lost her own robotic limbs as a result of Ixis Naugus’ magic.

Eggman then realized that both instances were the result of mystic energies enhanced by the energy of the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald and hypothesized: If chaos energy can restore organic matter, why can’t it be used to transform it as well?

With that, Eggman went to work drawing up plans for a new design for the roboticizer; one that would filter the transformation ray directly through the Chaos Emeralds in a central chamber, then redirect it to the outer capsules surrounding it, or to a ray gun mounted to the exterior of the Death Egg.

Once completed, Eggman installed his recently-recovered blue emerald in the central chamber and began testing it on prisoners (including his own nephew Snively), and even on his own Dark Egg Legionaires. The results left Eggman with a ominous smile on his face; not only could his new “toy” roboticize the organic parts of Legoinaires and other cyborgs without exploding, but it could also tramsform Mobians that were de-roboticized by the Bem. Now, even his hated enemy Sonic was once again susceptible to robotization. Eggman laughed with excitement.

A single Chaos Emerald powering the roboticizer was sufficient to transform one or two Mobians at a time, and the more emeralds he installed, the more victims he could transform at once through the external ray. With all seven emeralds, it would have the same power and range as the World Roboticizer.

First time using the Blur tool for softer shading on the lighting effects. Also, there’s a significance in the way I arranged the emeralds in this pic. Can you figure out what it is?

This is really cool. Is the blue Emerald in the center to represent Sonic?

Thanks!

Actually, it was the emerald Eggman was originally using to power the Death Egg in the Archie comic.

you have to make sonic in this chamber suffering the roboticization process from this chamber.

Or he could just slip the clockwork virus into the water supply: www.scp-wiki.net/scp-217

Great idea! It would be a cool saga if after the crossover, Eggman roboticizes Sonic and Silver for a few issues and turns them against New Mobotropolis, killing off (hmm) one of the characters. I hope that idea gets used!

Thanks!
I don’t know about Silver, but I’d love to see Mecha Sonic again.
