I think the one thing that makes people nervous about the EU is that many of its ministers are appointed, not elected.

To be honest though it would be nice to see Europe united...especislly after everything that the continent as a whole has been through. If Europe doesn't want to be annexed by others and doesn't want to be islamified then they should just become one entity with a democratic government. Plus they'll be protected by their Russian neighbor.

The British could even things out if they wanted in on the fray. The Eastern Europeans are wide open.

Wow really? I had no idea that the British had these concerns over the EU. I really need to keep up with news in Europe more... I'm American so I pay more attention to the Middle East That's interesting! I love the pic though XD lol at Germany/France. I think it's funny that they're so attached now, considering their history XD

So Funny! This is why I'm glad my country doesn't have to deal with issues like this...I guess we just don't give a damn either way. We've been on our own for 230+ years, we think we can handle anything (...we're so naive). =_=

lol, this is funny!
yeah, we do get paranoid over here about the EU.
But in a way it keeps us sane - *flicks through financial newspaper* 'oh, yes...the pound is higher than the euro...the highest it's ever been... BWAHAHAHA----WHAT DO YOU MEAN GERMANY'S ECONOMY IS STILL THE STRONGEST IN EUROPE??!!??' *screams in rage and drinks more tea* 'oh we're doomed, we're doomed...oh the shame, the shhhaammmee!!!'
We take pleasure in moaning about how we're failing as a country whilst attempting to blame it on others...lol

*snrk* 'tis reminds me of that idea some grand politician had back in... 2001, I believe.
"LOL how about we unite France and Germany so we can have one big country plz"
"...8| This will be never spoken off again, go into your shame-corner."
I imagine England would even less pleased if that had happened. Or more nightmares for our poor, paranoid Brit. <3

Germany and France have been one country, I think, during the 800s? I don't even know how we became two different countries. And when we were one country, I think it wasn't to annoy Britain. But I'm not sure ...it could be, perhaps?

Most british people (including my family) would like to leave the E.U. because they say all british laws are made by the E.U. and the goverment has less control or something? I don't know man, politics you know it makes your brain hurt (dread to think what economics does to your head *shivers*).
very funny picture by the way (though I am a die hard US x UK(e) fan I still like the picture (Germany is a natural at being a dragon).

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YOU CAN HAVE FRANCE, IT'S NOT LIKE WE CARE how will we cope without France? We just told the USA to gtfo. Who else can we turn to for a little lovin' WE DON'T CARE AT ALL. WE DON'T LIKE YOU PEOPLE ON THE CONTINENT, WE'RE ISOLATED FROM YOU, AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU except for most of our trade, political institutions, decision- making, ideas for collective defence, oh yeah, and the channel tunnel kind of means that we're joined anyway AND WE'RE SOOOOOOO HAPPY BEING ON OUR OWN THAT WE COULD CRY.
Which is why we regularly invite Prussia over from your basement, and get sloshed with him, and then cry about how einsam we are.
SO THERE.

(... buhyoo. Just.)
Silly, silly Anglo. You misunderstand our intentions. See, by being so sickeningly all over each other and appearing to shun you, we just wanted to trigger your deepest, true longing and feelings which are buried so deeply under your collective tsundere attitude.
Never did we intend for you to grow bitter, or for you to be hurt too much.
But look. We are so proud of you, telling the US to GTFO. This means you are ~ready~. Ready to fully give in to us. Ready to join us in our warm and loving and slighty sticky pan- European embrace. :-}
Come to us. We'll even let you top for a while. Before we get to the BDSM part.

I had no idea I was so late to the party with this deviation. I utterly missed it. /loser
I... we want to... we're just a little scared. We don't want our hearts broken concerned about getting a sore bum legislation, and sovereignty issues.
Plus, we kind of heard rumours about vampires or something, or something, I don't know.

Just add the weremonster in Belgium's house since they talk about that in Brussels, and it'll be complete. Damn European meetings, they totally block our city once in a while.
