Maybe for once, I'll just not write a description and post this...
ha, that's a joke, right?

Late to the bandwagon, but it's back after two years, so let's hop on. Well, there's still plenty of ppl doing it, so I guess I'm not that late. And I got tagged by Porsheee (who also tagged NightmareSiren ), so what the hey.
Also, while it is no longer in first place on my poll , it was once tied for first place... xD

I drew a background... why.....
It was mostly for the pose (slouching, with feet up, drawing?). I originally thought of doing a pose where I was squatting down because I didn't want to do a standing pose. But what would I be doing while squatting?? It's not like I like to observe rocks or anything. xD
Yes yes, as Porsheee pointed out, those aren't very Californian beaches. Maybe they're Floridan beaches. Less than two months to go!
The scene depicted is me visiting my friend in SD via train (Amtrak?). That is, I am going backwards xD
Her sister is a big fan of PJO; we've exchanged Percy Jackson Greek Gods and Greek Heroes a few times... I have yet to finish reading either of them... >.>
I've also lent/given my friend several of my TLC books, so there's that too xD

That plaid shirt looks better in real life... DxD I tried.
The blue shirt is one of my Tuition Freedom shirts (which I'm currently wearing actually, and too lazy to ref accurately lol).
This is my summer outfit. (You know. For late October.)

I've had the DeviantArt cap for about 4 years? Feels like longer.
This is my 6th pair of glasses, I believe. Got it in Taiwan last year.
My phone (ASUS ZenFone 2) + wallet case—very useful—goes in my left pocket. I often have a black and yellow hand exerciser in my other pocket. I first got it as a violin-related gift for myself, but now I always carry it around as a weird habit/stress reliever.
I wanted to draw my "first aid kit" as an item (aloe chapstick + medical tape? XD) but I guess it's just labeled now hahaaa

Format + whatever else
I'm lazy and I suck at designing and spend too much time on it so
yes, I reused the background pattern from my Dear Beans character profiles
and also the character stats (there was too much empty space, 'kay? DxD)
I like writing~ but it kind of takes a while.
I wish that I had the color sense to draw with really soft-feeling colors? I guess I don't haha...
At least I bothered with colored lineart.
Right, I'm the only thing that's lined carefully and everything else is kinda like AS;DKLJAGDFKHASFLKDASJ *SLAPS ON LINELESS SHAPES I HOPE YOU CAN TELL WHAT THEY ARE*
Finally, yes, palm trees grow on sidewalks.
