Its a shame we don't see Gilda in the show as this emotionally complex. It would be nice if this Gilda were canon. I like her a lot more than the griffins in the show thus far, even the 'reformed Gilda' is a bit boring compared to Sorcerus' Gilda. I think characterizing all the griffins as selfish and greedy just to have RD and Pinkie Pie reform them was a little...lazy to be honest.

Well, when you think about it in Gilda's view, she really just wants both of her friends to get along. She doesn't know about Derpy, and she thought that the party could bring them all together again. So it's none of their faults, really.

Yes, but Gilda has done nothing for Dash as of late. During the dance, when RD needed her most, she does nothing. And look what happens. Derpy has a bun in the oven! Hell, when Dash just needed someone to cool down with, what does Gilda do? Takes her shoplifting! And when Dash decides to help a real friend during a crisis (THAT GILDA CAUSED), Dash is the villian and Gilda's the victim.
RD needs to man up and tell her what a terrible friend Gilda's been.

Poor Dash. I guess Gilda forgot about the time at the dance when Dash came to her for help about her date, but Gilda totally blew her off. If it weren't for Firefly's quick thinking, Dash could've possibly been in Derpy's situation right now. At least in this case, Dash has a good excuse, if only Gilda would give her a chance to explain herself. So, Gilda hasn't been a very good friend either. She's only thinking of herself right now.

I feel sorry for Dash because she had good reasons why she didnt go to the party. But shouldnt Gilda take a moment to listen to her side before storming off like that? I swear once the truth comes out she must feel horrible for doubting Rainbow.

Well even though i have really mixed feelings about that comic... actually I really like it and enjoyed it at the beginning, but when You come up with this RainbowDash and FireFly shipping that had destroy a very nice story. Other threads are still good but this... this spoil the overall image which was very, very good. Now it's rather ambivalent.
Still I really can't wait for this how will ends Derpy's thread... I;m sure she will born her child - she is good pony, not a monster - but how her enivroment react? We know for now just about Firefly and Rainbow, there's no wonder that other teammates and Fluttrershy will be supporting too but what's with the rest?
I really can't wait to see that. I hope next page appear for not so long time...

aah that was fun. I read the previous page already when it came up on popular overview but now that i saw the next i finally went around and read the whole comic. It is really very well done! I quite enjoyed myself and to last through it this long 
I have no clue about the ponies really. I see fanart on devi but that's all i know, never seen the show. But even so this was really cool ^_^
on an note about the last pages: I really don't see what G sees in Billy. Billy the bully lol. She herself doesn't strike me as a super good friend either and I think flash is much better off at the other team

Just read this whole comic, it sucked me in. Never cared for the Dash being a lesbian thing, but you changed that for me! Love this couple, you built it up pretty nicely, it didn't feel forced, and it was just heart warming and cute. Them holding hands and kissing the first time made me say "AWW!" out loud.
Ohh...but now I don't want you to finish the story...because IF this is supposed to be a story leading into what's now cannon on the show, Firefly and Dash will part ways....my heart can only take so much! T_T

What upsets me most about this is that Gilda keeps acting like Dash is the problem when Billy's been the one with a problem with Dash for much longer. And her attempts to try to make them get along are extremely misguided; not everyone gets along. I understand Gilda's hurt, but in some ways, I think she's been selfish. It's been about what's easiest for her in her relationships, which she thinks would be Dash and Billy just getting along. That's not likely tho. And if Gilda had let Dash say anything, Dash might have had a chance to tell her that it wasn't about trust, it was about it not being HER secret to tell. And, honestly, I wouldn't trust Gilda either, considering the ponies she's hanging out with are bullies and that doesn't seem to faze her much.

Trust me...I know how Gilda feels...I know that not everyone gets along...but when I have friends, I do try to bring them together...and there was one time I had to do someting similar to what Gilda had to do...it all worked out in the end for me...I just hope it will work out for them. Also, I don't think it's selfish...she just really wants to be able to hang with her best friend and boyfriend at the same time without them being at each other's throats...Anyone would want that, and don't forget that Dash was GOING to go...but this kind of thing happening with one of my friends...yeah I would be distracted too...

Except that Gilda's boyfriend is also a bully and the type of person I'd never want to associate with. I mean, we saw him planning to intentionally out Dash. That's incredibly not fucking okay. That's exactly the type of person I'd end a friendship over. So Gilda is trying to make Dash be cool with the pony who's been bullying her since childhood. That's fucked up. Did Gilda consider how that would make Dash feel? I don't think so, because Gilda's a bully too and doesn't seem to have a problem with her boyfriend's actions.

Not everyone has to be friends. I don't think it's realistic to expect that and there's enough history between Dash and her BULLY that Gilda's fixation on them being friends is more destructive and harmful than anything else. Imo, Gilda just wants them to be friends so that she doesn't have to choose between them and also so that she doesn't have to condemn either pony's behavior. (Again, meaning she's actually fine with her boyfriend's bullying.) Gilda's intentions aren't completely pure or innocent; they're driven by guilt and an avoidance of admitting she's dating a bully and is also something of a bully herself.

I am pretty sure Gilda was counting on that if they were to give this a chance, they might apologize to each other and that he wouldn't have a reason to bully Dash anymore. I am just guessing here.

oh I wasn't excusing bullying, I was just saying I can understand how gilda feels. Bullying is never ok, ever...but That doesn't mean bullys have to stay bullies, after all, I know someone who bullied me before, and we became friends and burried the hatchet after a while after he apologized for everything of course. I think Gilda was just trying to get them into a room and just try to get them to talk it out and hope they can make up. It still doesn't excuse all he did, but a genuine apology can go a long way into fixing things.

Who do you mean would apologize? And I get what you're saying, but also Dash shouldn't ever have to talk to her bully at all. That's not her responsibility in the slightest. Like, if she wanted to of her own volition, that'd be one thing, but Gilda kept pressuring her into pretending to like/give her bully a chance, who has shown no inclination of being a better pony. If a friend came to me and said, "hey this friend who's dating my longtime childhood bully really wants me to make nice with the bully, what do I do?" I'd tell them, "fucking dump that friend. Don't even fucking talk to her anymore. She clearly isn't prioritizing your feelings on the matter. And who the hell dates their friend's bully???"
I mean, they're all fairly young and that certainly makes mistakes more likely to happen, but Gilda is just... doing basically everything wrong. :/
