Another panoramic done with a film camera(Canon) at the Great Wall of China...=__= Taken at the highest point people were allowed to climb to looking toward the rest of the Wall.O_O They had a camel at the top where you could sit on it and then have a photo taken. >_>;; There were a ton of vendors there......x___x haggling people to buy stuff like a certificate saying that you climbed to "the top" of the Great Wall and keychains...plaques etc..

Aww~ -hugs- bleeh it is tough climbing it though. I so wanted to give up half way (since it was snowing and the steps were super slippery), but mom dragged me on. *_*;;

Those steps are so steep x___x it doesn't look it in photos, I can't imagine climbing in the winter lol

Ooh~ waa but it's like super hot and humid in the summer! D; Haha, yeah they are uber steep and some of the steps are broken, so it's sort of scary trying to walk on them.

But China's winter is like bone chilling cold x__x I visited during christmas-new years last year and froze my ass off. I had to go to bed with a hoodie and sweat pants D= it was ridiculous lol

Yeah, probably~ changes in the elevation means temperature and atmospheric differences( ._. welp there goes separation of school and dA.. -siigh-).
O_O;; It is~ I had to cover my face and walk around all ninja-looking because it was just too darn cold, especially when the wind blew... ooh it felt like daggers. TwT; Oh dear~ sorry you had to go through thaat.. I doubt I'd be able to sleep in that type of cold. (>_>; I had the heater on full blast at the hotel, haha) Yeah, going down was just plain scary for me... >w<;; It didn't look that steep when I was climbing up~ -tear tear-

Aw - it's great when you know someone to take you around the non tourist places. When I was younger I lived in china with my relatives for about 2 years so they're happy to have us over XD that and my grandmother misses us lol
Oh manz! I remember using those when I was younger and living there - but no, not really cause we either have the ac or the heat on and have to close the windows... which is why they keep biting me cause they get locked in -_____-
Lol... today is the last day of my spring break... and I still haven't done any hw LOL I am so screwed. Life is ok... at a point where it's like - can't do what I want to do because of school work, which is why I'm changing majors and transferring to a different school. Special fx and 3D stuff really isn't my thing after all.. I'm happier making stuff with my hands. So I'm just trying to get through this last month and a half with my grades intact lol

Haha, that's so true! It was quite awkward stalking a tour guide around China... but since my family is from the Guangdong region, they weren't that familiar with Beijing or Shanghai. LOL I sorta "cheated" my way through too .. You know how we're supposed to read the passages in books? I would memorize them and just recite so whenever you point to a word and asked me what it was I would have to "read" up to that part XDD
