There is a Oneness in it all, a connection.
Found these standing alone in the shadow, the light you see is the sun slightly reaching the flowers

Hope you like it, any fav and feedback is very appreciated.

This shot is a perfect example of moderation and balance. Composition of the photo spins around mild silhouette of a plant, stretches up to the viewer and blossoms with two lovely forget-me-not flowers. The image is divided into two contrasting parts - dark and light – crossed and joined together by a line of a stem.
The technique is flawless. Here you can see the way field of depth is beautifully used as a tool to emphasize key points of the composition.
I feel that the title and the general idea of the work fit very well. All the parts of the work – dark or light, sharp or blur, nearly colorless or vibrant – are woven together. Well done!

Incredible. Great usage of the black and deep greyish blue. So unusual to see these colors in a photo.

I like it, a lot. I like the fact that it seems a photo taken with an old camera, just that instead of a "sepia filter" it has a "blue filter". It's beautiful and simple, and also it seems a work for school in which your teacher has asked you to create something beautiful with just two colours: blue and yellow (which mixed up, become green) ^_^

(do you want me to add this on a critique? )

I like it! but im curious, did you use photoshop for that soft blur or was it a good depth of field and a nice background? or a combination of the two?

what was the background? spontaneous/unplanned or more sett to match the shot.

thanks ;

There's an old saying that is evading me at the moment, but it is something to the effect of "Why say with ten words what you can say with one." This shot captures the essence of that saying, and its simplicity is what makes it so striking.

The shot is well composed and well focused. The clarity and blue of the flowers stand out against the dark, obscured background. The flower's solitude in the photo offers one explanation to the title: the oneness that comes from being alone. However, the pairing of two blossoms on the same stem brings up a second option, a oneness through solidarity. The photographer leaves it up to the viewer to decide, but even to the least trained eye the shot is a marvel at face value alone.
