*** This design is obsolete, please view: [link] ****Alright... so this is the first drawing I've spent extensive time on this year just for me. This is my character, [link] (Angelena)
I remembered that people were requesting to see more of Angelena, but it takes a while for me to get comfortable drawing a character. So here she is.
Not mature because she is wearing fur. I was gonna give her a nipple, but then I'd have to mature it, so no.
Does the grey look green to you? And how is the anatomy? Is her head too small? DX
Yes, her tail is high up, but I like it that way...
I used a B pencil, 5 shades of watercolor pencils, and a gum eraser on card stock.
Referenced a model and I examined a wolf head in my book to get the right angle of the muzzle ^.^

I agree with WeirdFreek (?) about both the anatomy and the arms. They do seem a tad thick, but everything else (and them) are absolutely amazing and beyond what I'm able to do.
How are you liking watercolour pencils, by the way? (a hint is to not use them on heavy-duty watercolour paper xD they don't work as well as they do on paper that's... say, 60 lb.)

Yeah, I can see the arms being too thick now, I have a tendency to do that because I dun want her to look scrawny XD I'll def try to fix that next time ^.^
^___^ Thanks! I believe that you could so do something like this if you had the right model! That's the thing, I can't draw correct human/anthro anatomy without looking at a reference. I suggest The live art models books, they are positively wonderful! You just can't be shy about nudes
I have been using watercolor pencils for a while now, and I love them. they do not break as much as the prisma colored pencils, and they are fun to work with in general. But yeah, I did experiment with watercolor pencils on watercolor paper, and that didn't work like I had hoped
I found that cardstock worked alright, but It was still curly and such if I used too much water. So recently I've bought some bristol paper, one smooth and one vellum to see if I like any of those better. We'll see

This is easily some of your best work yet! Great job with the shading. No, the head isn't too small. I don't see the greys being greens. I will say, though, that her far arm seems a bit longer than it should be.

everything looks great to me. The colors go good with each other and the anatomy looks great! It seems alittle broken but that's probably the scanners work. Awesome picture ^^

That took you one year... Whoa... What increments did you do it in? Did you like, work on it and inch every day or something? That must have taken a long time, but you did a good job on it! Oh, now I get it, you spend a long time working on it this year, but you didn't spent a year on it. Woopsy! I made a bit of an understanding error. Anyway, the tail's a bit high on the back, but little details like that don't matter much. Everyone draws their anthros differently.

I think this looks great. The anatomy is way better than what I could do. And the colors look fine to me.
Her arms look a little thick compared to the rest of her bod y.
I actually need to work on where I need to be placing my tail on my fursona, because the spot always changes in each drawing lol.
Sorry I'm not very good at critiquing, but I just gave you what I thought of it.
