why did i do this? why did i make a reference for a character i rarely ever draw. i have so many others who would need one first. but here he is

Full name: Corone Cortiz
Nick names: Corey
Gender: Cis male
Age: 17
Human appearance: (no ref) Caucasian, red eyes, dark red hair; not picky about his outfit; like 4.5 ft tall
Form appearance: (shown) An angry goose
Accessories: Never goes anywhere without a knife; probably has a pistol as well
Shepherd carries Corone's heavy rifle in Shift, which he'll summon out whenever Corone needs it

Class: Weapons specialist
Personality: Small and furious; a stubborn and loyal bird who will angrily protect his friends with all the firepower he has. He usually isn't honest with others until he snaps, or unless he genuinely has to be for cinnamon roll reasons--and as such, he has a habit of silently hating everyone.
Likes: Personal space, fighting/defending, order, weaponry
Dislikes: Annoying & evil people

Pre-Bleed Background:
Had lived a generally normal life. As a child he took interest in planes & police officers, eventually deciding to settle his future in the military (preferably in aviation). He had attended boot classes and often studied related subjects just for fun.
Post-Bleed Background:
The Bleed had occurred during a normal visit in the city, and he awoke a week or so after the cataclysmic event just like everyone else. Alone, he survived in the city for about a day before breaking his wing when trying to escape a horde of the zombie-like Cultists that now haunted the city, but was quickly found and rescued by Mal and Shepherd, who he then joined. Though by no means an expert, his knowledge of weapons and military survival tactics is far greater than most other survivors, making him a useful companion.
At first he was at odds with both of them, though mostly with Mal, whose strange and distant personality he disliked (and whose leadership position he, by default, didn't appreciate). While he was certainly the most problematic of the 3, and at times preferred to be the leader himself, he stayed with the duo for survival sake for as long as his wing was injured. As time passed and PARA grew, he came to understand and respect his allies, and the 3 buds are certainly the closest trio of all the members in PARA.

He usually rides around on Shepherd as a goose.

He strongly dislikes and distrusts Yoa, though has to deal with her because Mal says so.
