This tourmaline is my baby, the prize of my faceted stone collection. It's a whopping 8.9 carats, and just look at the colors! I've had this one for a few years and never set it until now because I couldn't settle on a design. I finally went with something simple, contrasting to the hard rectangular shape of the stone. Also, the wholesale price of this stone kinda hurts my head, so I don't know if I could ever part with this pendant - I may not be able to get another stone like this! It has a ton of personality; I can't wear it with other stones!For a shot of the stone unmounted, have a look at my Handful of Treasures picture; it's the stone closest to the viewer. The pink in that shot is a little washed out, it's truer to color in the pendant picture above.

Very beautiful design, and awesome stone! I find it hard to part with tourmaline, also. The round shapes do contrast the rectangle stone nicely, I think. Great work!

A neat design i must say. Simple but just pretty. I love toermaline and the bicolour are the best but so very expensive.. i would shake my arms off if i should set it..

Ooh, I like this! The shapes complement each other very well, and the stone itself is very striking. The use of silver was also a good idea; it sets the stone off without taking away from it.

Mebbe I should have done it in white gold, but I don't have the experience with the material to mess around with it like I can with silver.
