This is one of the most striking boulder opals I've ever seen, with a vein of bright purple right down the center that almost glows in the dark! I worked slowly on this piece, the design kept changing in my head, and now I'm finally pleased with the result.~Cynthia

I love that the side pieces echo the design of the center; their lack of other adornment really focuses attention on the stone, and makes it really pop. Too big a necklace for me to wear effectively, but it's definitely nifty to look at anyway. ^..^

Too big for me too, it likes Kelly much better. It took me a long time to finish this one because I kept changing the design of the side panels. i'm glad it finally worked.

Wow, this piece is lovely. I wonder if the opal glows under black light like ruby zirconate does (if you havent ever tryed it grab a piece and stick it under a black light it looks really cool!) I really do like the flow of the piece though it matches up great with the pattern in the stone
