Description Originally this wasn't so detailed, and I wasn't going to put shells on her, too mermaidy, but alas I am a sucker for details and I couldn't resist.

I know the anatomy is not great, the hands especially, because I didn't use any reference. Also my first attempt at water effects so I kept it subtle.

Constructive critique much appreciated!

Hey, I think it's pretty good! I love the colours and the pose is very dynamic. You're right, the hands aren't perfect, but they are one the hardest parts of humans to draw. (that's why lazy people like me avoid drawing them most of the time) You made a decent attempt.
I love the trailing weeds and the fins are beautiful, overall, I like it
