Smiling human, wow.Done as OC-training 5th task Fauna.
This is my character Rowena taking care of some hungry little birds, maybe they fell out of nest and she's taking them home. She loves to help out animals mostly because they can't judge like people and while they usually can't express their gratitude, they also can't be ungrateful. That's a pro for some.
Also, weather seems to be nicer recently and I have a longing for summer.
Mechanical pencil, HB 0.5 mm, 2-3 hours.

Your backgrounds and all the details in this are amazing. I love the tree and hint of grass. Personally I suck at backgrounds.
If I might suggest for smiling humans add a hint of an upside down curve under the eye or eye shading depending on how high the subjects cheek bones are. It helps bring the smile to the eyes and join up the whole face.
The suggestion here is that Rowena doesn't like people or for some reason is often judged by them. Given her garb is it because she is a servant girl?

She's not particularly a servant girl, but she lives in a universum where there are feudal relations, so she has to serve those who are above her in the feudal hierarchy anyway. This outfit is her student uniform, as she attends temple school (not a novice yet, but preparing to become one). It was strongly inspired by traditional Lithuanian clothes and XIX century. A bit of mix up
She's the shy and nerdy kind of girl, so probably she has tough times at school, where girls bolder and prettier than her would bully her. Schools and teenagers everywhere are similar, I guess. Since she hasn't many friends among humans, she makes them with birds and animals.
Also these are very rough ideas about her, she was a secondary character in stories I write that I decided to develop because I felt she has potential
