i got bored with this layout i had originally intended for the LOA submission with thirtyfive and the birds. so i fucked around with the original vectors until this emerged!
aside from the vecs this is all hand drawn. and really, it didn't take a lot of time or funds to produce. i hope it shows.
not relevant to LOA; i mean conventional weapons are just not thirtyfive's fare of choice. moral of the story,

DON'T

PISS OFF

THE ROOKS.

(this means you new zealand)

they're tempermental and plotting to demolish society in favor of a new world order in which gothic corvid aficionados reign supreme (fat chance because even the smartest bird can't beat the dumbest human being)

so rest easy.

Rooks are the best. i would love one as a pet. Actually.. I'd like any corvid as a pet. They're just so smart and funny! And the jays are wonderfully pretty.

Rooks cannot help being stylish. It is at once a blessing and a curse.

new zealand fumigates for them they're a pest there D: we should go liberate some.
to... our pets anyhow. saving alife is saving a life, eh?

dude thank you, it's as if some circles of though don't recognize the jays as corvids anymore. i noticed a lot a couple years ago when i was researching some of Thirtyfive's bird info and settled on the Rook.

fuck yeah. saving the anaimls! (the cute ones)!

some websites i was on didn't list them. especially when i was researching the skulls. jays were in a whole different menu, but oddly enough the jackdaws weren't.

Not everyone can be as mentally elite as you and I, I guess.

Your avatar is spiffy, by the way! The old Megamans were REAL hard, to me at least.

Totally awesome rehash of ideas. Although the name...it kills me. Why Major? Why quote my stupidity for the good of your art? Anyway, I gotta admit I love the description of this piece, it's wonderfully ridiculous and humorous. Well done the KA.

HAHAhaa not literally a shit-eater, no...

are you pasty like a vegan? the psychiatric term for veganism and related disorders is "orthorexia;" meaning obsessed with the notion that what someone eats makes them a better person. i'd eat a baby if it were in cooked right. and as long as i hadn't snacked since lunch, it wouldn't bother my conscience much.

anyhow... thanks for the original and have a good one

i have always said
if it's me or the rabbit......
i wear leather shoes, my body just functions better this way
nothing to to with karma

at a comedy show the guy was talking about how when he sat down to his steak he knew it was dead
but those vegitarians... that shits still alive
and i yelled at him thats why we like to it live food to hear it scream

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sparkpenguin In reply to zen-master-gone-bad [2006-04-26 09:39:34 +0000 UTC]

your body won't function better that way after thirty years or so trust me

but thankfully the mind evolves, i'd still avoid the red meats forever the hormone shock isn't worth the well-rounded chemical intake and more viable proteins can be found in more preferable fleshfoods, ideally fish

that comedian shoulda' talked about those crazy fruit-a-tarians; you want a fucked up bunch go find some of those, they don't need anyone else to make fun of them just follow the smell of chronic diarrhea...

I always thought coacroaches are the true survivors ...

No rooks , crows are too. The sparrows and all the tiny birds give up the neighbourhood and the pressence of mankind - decline fast in numbers. They are too kind for us - humans - to deserve a bird as a sparrow. (Who are a cute colonies to observe them in the garden indeed.) When I used to live in the old part of the town - we live surrounded by green and the houses aren't that well isolated and it was full of them. Now I live in a new build area of the town ( Phoenix locations they call it as some sick joke I think) - with almost no green... so no cute birds anymore.

The funny part is that now - between all the massed produced fast built houses all the "seeminly nasty" birds can be found and grow larger in numbers. One of them is the crow , raven , rook kind. Yes they are the rookies in the neighbourhood - they daredevils , the dreadnaughts and raiders who still enter the evil humanity, and their numbers are growing.

damn ... as for the image ... You know I like crows... there beautifull handdrawn (and vectorised). Lovely colourwork as well. So is the other crow-one before.

*aplause* (flap wings)

i have a lot of respect for corvids' ability to adapt with mankind, rather than die out and piss and moan and get all kinds of hippie groups to yell at the rest of the world for destroying them.

power to the versatile creatures of the earth. they will, like the earth itself, outlive us!

Hrmm ... smartest bird vs. dumbest human theory isn't so sound IMO. Sure we give machine guns, grenades and tanks to some of the dumbest people on the planet but the dumbest is a whole level below them. While there isn't too many of them in New Zealand ... if they come across the strait to Australia ... there would be a lot of people in dire trouble. Especially if the rooks get the emus onto us.

(excuses self for random rant)

iu wasn't talking about idiotic human nature vs the bare necessities quiet existence of animals, mostly IQ points and the grasping of abstract concepts such as time self-aspiration, and multiple languages, things like that.

and rooks are a pest in new zealand, last i read. shoot em, poison em, blow em up-- just don't feed them or own one as a pet or generally anything not involving destruction.
