To lazy even to capitalize the title
I don't know why, this is just the way I've been feeling lately. Not like I'm depressed, I've just felt so damn lazy the last week or so Not like, "I need a break" lazy, but like "Someone's been putting drugs in my cereal" lazy. I'm supposed to be doing all this stuff but I keep putting it off and I'm always bored and tired and feeling funky and out of it... man, it's truly exhausting being this lethargic. I think I need vitamins. And sunlight. Yeah, sunlight might be good. It was all I could do to drag myself out of bed at 5 pm and do this little picture. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't feel too bad. Just look at Zim and Dib-- they're too lazy even to chase each other, and about the only fight they'll be having is over who gets the remote. Also, I don't know about you, but I am truly, truly sick of car insurance commercials. I hate them all so much. Soooooo much
And yeah, I know-- GIR is adorable (Wow-- this emoticon doesn't make ANY sense here!! Yay! )
Invader Zim owned and all that by Jhonen Vasquez (yeah I have to put this here now cause for SOME reason DeviantART won't let you put in keywords to search by anymore and will only let you use hash tags. So now if someone looks up 'Invader Zim' or 'Jhonen Vasquez' fanart and those exact words aren't in your artwork description somewhere, well, you're screwed. Hell if I know why they did this, but I'm kinda cheesed).

But this is adorable! I imagine that this is what they would do when Zim's not scheming/when they're not filming the show.
(I am also a member of Lazy Club. It gets to the point where I feel guilty for not posting new art sometimes.)

I've been using an old copy of Photoshop 7 for years now. It's old, but it works fine for me. I only recently started using it to digitally ink stuff-- I really love the smooth look it gives me.

Oh man, Mopiness of Doom could've been a different episode entirely if they went this route rather than Zim and Dib moping in the other's absence. Like one day they're just like "Hey, I don't feel like trying to shoot you today. Wanna just hang out and watch TV?" "Yeah, okay, sure."

I think that would have been pretty amusing ^^ In fact, I think this would make a great ending to the show. They eventually get so sick of fighting each other, all day, everyday, their battles always ending in a stalemate, and all the energy that goes into it-- you just see them get more and more bored by it until finally they just have a little scene like the one you mentioned, and the last we ever see of them they're watching TV on the couch like a couple of slugs. I mean really, who needs a final, epic space-battle and an 'Invader Dib' movie and all that boring stuff to end the series, am I right?

I have the same hate for these ads: "Attention: If you or a loved one has taken Zoloft (or any other type of backfiring medication) and have a child born with Spinobida, cleft-palet or other serious birth defects call this Lawfirm/Attorney right now. You or a loved may be eligible for compensation" as much as you hate car insurance commercials. I've seen them so much I almost remember them word for word. And the background music for those ads are so... creepy. Maybe that's there plan... to brainwash people into memorizing pointless ads so they can get rich and take over the world!

OH MY GOD, YES. FINALLY, after all these years, I'm seeing someone else talking about how...CREEPY those ads are. I thought I was the only one! Thank you for bringing attention to this matter. ansksskn
They creeped me out as a little kid, and they STILL creep me out! Like...remember when there was a giant toy recall about 10 years ago? Back during that time period, I saw a local law firm ad regarding a class action lawsuit against Mattel one afternoon, and the tone of it was just...UNSETTLING. LIKE...if I remember correctly, there was REALLY SPOOKY X-FILES-ESQUE MUSIC PLAYING OVER A DRAMATIC SHOT OF AN EMPTY ROOM WHERE BARBIE DOLLS STARED BLANKLY AT THE SCREEN AND MODEL TRAINS WERE RACING AROUND THEIR TABLES. 10-year-old me was not...not okay with that ad.

Dude, that is CRAZY weird!! That song popped into my head not two minutes before I saw your comment! SO not kidding, I'm really super cereal! LOL Ha ha, Zim and Dib... I can envision the two of them having an epic battle where Zim listlessly waves Dib's hand away from the chips, and then Dib tries halfheartedly to inch the bowl away, and then they kinda start nudging each other gently until one of them almost, sort-of falls halfway off the couch in a lifeless pile, while the other one gives a triumphant victory "Meh..."
