There is something to be said for an evening stroll in nature. It is a time of solace, where only the trees and hills can hear the whispers of the soul. To take such a walk at the first snowfall of the season however, well...that is something else entirely. It is a magical experience, purely ethereal to see the flakes of gently falling snow catch the moon's pure glow and bring it down to grace the earth with its light. One must walk in that time with reverence and respect, for even the slightest noise might break the spell of the moment, and it will be lost, until the time when the next winter might attempt again to send a season's greeting of light and magic to the stillness of the silent night.Related content

And she strikes again, with absolutely breath-taking folds. Rose's cloak by itself here is amazing. I'm loving the many folds, the dark colors, the black creases, and the lighter shades. Rose's bodice is beautiful as well, with obvious pain-staking effort to make this one simply beautiful. I love her expression, too. It's almost always ambiguous, almost teasing, and most certainly alluring. She almost has a miffed look to her, although I could say that her annoyed look is as natural to her as allure is, which is effortless. Beautiful work again, Oki!

Of late I have been working with traditional media and oil paints, and some day soon I would love to paint Rose and Oki on big canvases. *nod nod*
