Location: Vista Waikoloa, Big Island, HawaiiCamera: Fuji FinePix Z4900
While in Hawaii, I was able to capture and photograph this beautiful little gecko. I believe that this species of lizard was introduced to the islands and is not native.
Overall, he was quite calm as I shot photos of him from different angles. The white, studio-like background was a posterboard. The lighting is natural light from an overcast day. I love the rich color and texture of the scales. Following the shoot, this little fella went on his way.

Here this little gecko looks as if he is about to spring out of the photo (he probably was about ready to do that in fact).

Ooh! Nice golddust day gecko. I'm planning on getting a phelsuma laticauda laticauda like that. This species should actually be one of the easier ones to keep in captivity

this too is very cool, every thing thats about this has probaly been said already.. but only one thing, do you have this picture with a larger dof ? Think that would work better, this works good, but I think its a bit anoying with the tail being out of focus
