It's been at least a year since I last did any figure drawing. I'm really out of practice and it shows. I spent a lot of the day browsing the artistic nudes photos on DA and sketching them. I need to do these more often.I stupidly did not think to write down artist names as I was doing these (I was browsing the galleries randomly), so if you see your photo here, let me know and I'll link back to the original.

There is so much elegance in just the face alone of the one in the left lower corner, the woman with the long hair. They're all wonderful, but I think that one takes the cake.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this!!! I love the cartoon-y style you brought into this, even though these are realistic!! My favorite is the one in the left lower corner, also the one in the lower right corner is a close second! these are esp. awesome!

I am inspired by these and I am going to draw from nude photos now. 8D
Seriously, though... it's been about a year for me since life drawing as well, and I feel VERY rusty. This exercise will probably help be get the old gears oiled up again. Thanks for posting it!

Next time you do one of these exercises, please share it. @____@ I've learned so much from staring at this! You get across a pose so well without having to define it with hard lines...
The three bottom poses are especially fluid and realistic! Of course, I'm a sucker for less dynamic poses... and sitting characters are so hard to draw correctly.

True, I thought about that but unfortunately didn't think to write down the names of the photographers as I was browsing. If anyone comes along and claims credit for a pose then I'll credit them.

Though drawing from real life helps better. The only problem is to capture somebody for reference
