Ohhhhh I drew my pony again- ohhhhhh. Sort of a redraw/redesign of this:
I no longer have black streaks in my hair, so neither does my ponysona. I also took off some of the accessories for simplicity's sake. Like, I kind of wanted a more . . . "blank" reference for them, so the fish nets and hooflets came off. Scandalous. I was halfway through with this piece when I thought about throwing on my signature beanie, but decided against it in the end again to kind of show a reference for their hair. Later pictures will most definitely have my hat. (I'm fuckin' wearing it right now, dude. I wear this thing too often for it to be normal.)

I ALSO redid my cutie mark, and added a little more . . . substance? Color? Yeah. It just looked really blank before and sat awkwardly on the haunch so I added an energy trail to it and some lovely little curly wisps since I kind of have a thing for randomly adding those to things or underlining handwritten headers and titles with them, so yeah. Those were thrown in. Chopped off their tail after a lot of debate with myself, as well. Decided after awhile that it was way too long and would definitely be trodden on, so I feel that they'd keep it short to keep it clean and undamaged. Hope it turned out alright. I think my pony style's come a long way since I used to draw solely on my custom base and would make terrible mock up concepts of forgotten OCs.

Name: Strange Angel - Typically goes by their full name formally, "Strange" with friends or family, and "Angel" with their significant other exclusively.
Kind: Pegasus/Shape-shifter - Strange plays off the idea that my sonas constantly shift or bend form. I'm too all over the place and inconsistent to settle on one sole form for anything because my tastes change so often. Their main form is a pegasus soley for my love of flight and open air.
Sex: Female
Gender: Tri - Again, it's hard for me to feel too much like one thing for very long. Gender norms and identities continue to trouble me so "tri" is just easier for me to use. Carried this over to my ponysona. Any pronouns are accepted, people usually use feminine ones because . . . I was born with those parts.
Relationship Status: Taken by Redshift Rewind

Special Talent: Shifting into otherwise unordinary or unnerving forms - Strange enjoys exploring and experiencing the lives of other creatures and kinds of ponies, and will shift in order to blend into their communities so that they may experience life as them firsthoof. They have a preference for forms that others find "creepy" or "strange" hence their name. They're also pretty good at drawing because . . . yo it me.

Personality:  Agreeable, outwardly laidback, curious, quiet - Strange will be gentle and polite with new acquaintances in order to learn more about them or their species, gradually easing them into who they are as an individual so that they aren't scared off by them shifting or darker, alternative forms. Strange has to trust someone a lot to reveal their shifting to them, and will most often not even let on to the fact that they can shift, instead choosing one form to use around one community before moving on to the next where they will use another form. They have been found out by others in the past, but nothing too extreme, and they've yet to be exposed to the entirety of Equestria (who knows if that'll last). They tend to be protective of those they grow to know the most, and can become greatly upset or downright outraged if that individual is treated poorly. Their more conflicting or unstable emotions can force shifting onto Strange, and can easily blow their cover if their mood or situation they're in is bad enough, as they're actually really poor at handling stress and anxiety despite their seemingly unbothered demeanor. They bottle up more things than they should, leading to an increasing number of shift-bursts--instances in which they'll spontaneously shift without control--as they grow older. Their range of differing forms is also growing with age, and they can take on larger, more powerful forms for longer periods of time than when they were younger due to practice and exercise of their abilities.

Q: How can they shape-shift if they're a pegasus? Isn't that kind of magic exclusive for unicorns, alicorns, or changelings?
A: Normally, yes, however they aren't a pegasus. Their true form is currently unknown by all others apart from the family that raised them. They just prefer to take on the form of a pegasus. They aren't a changeling, either, as they don't feed off of love. They need actual physical food to sustain theirself. They aren't a unicorn or alicorn as they don't use spells or taught magic, they use their born abilities.

Q: So . . . how does their name/cutie mark represent their special ability again?
A: Intimidated by the paragraph? That's perfectly okay. Their cutie mark means that while they may look scary or creepy at times, they're really a kind being who encourages positive relationships with others, and can be protective over them. Their creepier forms (which they find very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to be in) have an otherworldly or supernatural theme to them, their other forms are usually capable of flight, and the energy color their shifting emits is green- the same green as their eyes. When under a lot of stress or during periods of intense emotions, their energy will "leak" form their eyes or even their mouth and nose as it tries to escape their body to reduce the potential damage from violent shifting.

Q: Is everyone in their family a shape-shifter?
A: Their mother and grandparents aren't, no. They don't know about their father (never met him). Their younger brother, however, he seems to exhibit some minor shifting or altering of his form.

Q: Can they make others change form?
A: Nah. It doesn't work like that. Only a unicorn, alicorn, or some other creature experienced with magic or potions would be able to do that, and unfortunately they haven't really studied those other magics.

Q: What's up with the collar? Are they goth?
A: Yeah, kinda. At least, they don't oppose the label, and others tend to identify them as one. They wear a lot of black stuff.
