Description
This is a personal piece I've wanted to make for a long time now. I really, really like the movie's style changes and thus wanted to try drawing with them, so here we go (it was mostly just the ears that changed, really). Anywho, here's Strange and Redshift running into each other for the first time- literally. I was struggling with what to do for the background for awhile. Like, originally I did a hasty sketch of Ponyville and tried blurring it, but you could still see how shitty and rushed it looked, and I really didn't want to draw out a detailed background. Then I toyed with an actual background still from the show, but felt weird about having an entire background I didn't make in the background of my piece--it felt like I was copping out of extra work or something, but this was only supposed to be a quick piece anyways, so I ended up settling for a more abstract background and played with their respective colors. The blush fucked me up a bit, too. Not only that, but when I was coloring the lineart my program ended up keeping the darker pixels on the lines so they all have a thin border and I had to take extra time to try and clean that up.

All in all, it at least turned out nice, and I'm even making it my new wallpaper. Yeye.
