Description
A character study done during the Planescape series. This Tiefling *is* a bit on the rough side, but it seems to me someone who runs around hacking things to death shouldn't look like a runway model...As usual: Pencil drawing painted using Photoshop. Original working size: 2300 x 2200.

I think she definately looks 'rough'--and that's the point, isn't it? I mean, she's the spawn of a demon and a human. You're right, she shouldn't look like a runway model--leave that to the succubi. I do like what you've done with her. Her jaw's a bit manish, but I suppose that could be on purpose, too, considering her lineage. Nice job on this one. ^.~ But then again, you know that.

Beautiful in the concept and in the details. The subtle but interesting arcade in the bg is effective, as it doesn't take away from the fine work you did on the finer things like the ornamentation on the armor and even the cat's eye pendant.

It gives off that kind of wet-look and it's all scraggley, like she's not from a world like ours where you can Pantene Pro V yourself to better beauty. But wow, that's just amazing.

Hmm, this is one I never saw on the NWVault. Well, I wouldn't say it looks rough, she just looks tough. 
Though I highly doubt any self-respecting warrior would run around fighting (or causing) evil in that (admittedly, I draw the exact same way; scantily clad girls+fantasy setting=great...) , her costume and armor are well done. And I especially like her skin texture and the little spots scattered about. Other than that, I echo ~Citylove05 's comment.
I'm curious, do you use custom brushes at all or do you do most stuff freehand?

I saw this one on your sight and really liked it. The detail in it is amazing; the chainlink, the necklace, the armor. I love the slight glow/light that comes off her hair. It just draws your attention to her face. I also really like the way you've managed to make her look more masculine without making it out of place. Really stunning work. Quite jealous of your computer skills *looks longingly at the background* Im much too lazy to make my colored pencils do a background, especially since they don't like coloring large spaces. Again, beautiful work!
