I really love your shading style, it's just so smooth and lovely ; ; And that pose-expression combo is a winner, especially the eyes...they really pop.

May I suggest using more vivid colors for the shading? Like purple in the deepest shadows of the cream, and orange to highlight the shell, and light turquoise for the blue, and so on. Just experiment, and I think you'll find that your shading looks a lot more eye-catching :D
