Interesting Facts:
1. Dimension 109, is the Dimension of Danganronpa according to the D.P.G. (Dimensional Portal Gun).
2. Hope's Peak Academy, or simply Hope's Peak. A Private Government-Sanctioned co-ed private city-center high school with boarding facilities founded several decades ago. Hope's Peak was found sometime after the WW2 by Izuru Kamukura in order to develop and research the talents of exceptional high school age children. Unlike a typical high school, the students did not have to participate in entrance exams, but instead were scouted by the school itself as Ultimate experts in their field, with the exception of the Ultimate Lucky Student whose talent was determined by winning a lottery draw, however The selection of the Ultimate Lucky Student began only in the late 90s.
3. The Ultimate, is a title given to talented people described as being the very best at what they do. They often specialize in one subject. Ultimates are in the high school age range, usually being 15-18. Though, some Ultimates may be older or younger, depending on the outside sources or the speciality of the talent. Also it important to mention that more than one person can have a title of the Ultimate of specific field, but usually they have a big age difference, but there also were examples of people sharing the Ultimate title depending on the talent or if they are siblings or close partners.
4. Prior to being scouted, the students had to have already been attending another high school by requirement, meaning they were at minimum 16 years old. Rather than typical school studies, students of Hope's Peak Academy were encouraged to develop their talents, with a practical exam in September halfway through each school year, where they would be required to demonstrate their ability. These practical exams were judged by dignitaries and experts and widely reported by the media in order to give Hope in the future to the nation, and failure could mean expulsion. Ultimate students who successfully graduated Hope's Peak Academy had the reputation of being guaranteed success in life, with many Hope's Peak graduates holding high positions in every field of the professional world.
5. Originally exclusive to those with Ultimate abilities, the school later developed a preparatory school style second facility upon the school grounds known as the Reserve Course in order to fund the school's research. Reserve Course students were not scouted, and instead took an entrance exam in order to attend. Successful applicants had to pay a high tuition fee, which would in turn fund the education of the Ultimates. Although the Reserve Course technically functioned as a normal - if exclusive - high school, the opportunity to attend was highly competitive due to the brand recognition of the school and the Main Course's reputation for producing future pioneers. It was said that an exceptional student from the Reserve Course may one day be transferred to the Main Course, although no Reserve Course student ever achieved this feat.
6.On the surface Hope's Peak was running smoothly as it should, but in the dark underbelly, a plan was brewing by the heads of the school. The Steering committee sought to use the knowledge they had accrued over the years to no longer just nurture talents, but create it. They wanted to create an individual who was the very embodiment of hope with every single talent known to man, A true symbol of hope, The Ultimate Hope. This plan originally was known as the Hope Cultivation Plan, however would later also be known as "The Izuru Kamakura Project", named after the founder of the Hope's Peak. In the fact to fund this project as well as having taken on some financial trouble in recent history, The Steering Committee came up with a way to pay for and fund everything without drawing any negative attention from the the public, They opened the Reserve Course. By paying a large financial fee or by passing a very difficult entrance exams students lacking any talent whatsoever could enter The walls of Hope's Peak Academy.
7. But the one of the most important people in all of this, isn't an Ultimate Student at all. No, instead, He was someone with no talent whatsoever, a Reserve Course Student, Hajime Hinata. Ever since he was a kid he admired Hope's Peak Academy, always dreaming of attending it himself, he always wanted to be a part of something bigger than himself, something that he could be proud of, but the problem was he possessed no talent, He was completely talentless. While his parents were able to enroll him into The Reserve Course, but even still he felt was unworthy, not good enough to be at the academy in the first place. Due to his complete normalcy, he had been approached to join "The Izuru Kamakura Project" by the school, however was hesitant at the beginning, but of course it would be unwise to skip over an very important figure Hajime met during this time, Chiaki Nanami, their meeting was that of complete accident, as she simply bumped into him while she was busy playing video games, but these two hit it off instantly. From this point the relationship between them would further blossom, particularly in the way they each viewed the world and their places in it. Despite all good words of Chiaki, Hajime eventually succumbed to his desire to have talent.
8. ...But one day, In Class 77-B, Chiaki's Class, a one particular event happened....A murder. It all revolves around the girl named Natsumi Kuzuryu, a younger sister of Chiaki's Classmate, were killed by the hands of Sato Terasawa, a fellow Reserve Course Student who killed Natsumi due the bullying of her friend. However it wasn't a clean execution, as Sato was almost caught by the four girls from the Class 77-B. She was managed to create a scenario which made it seem like she heard a noise come from the locked room and is trying to investigate and it is here where all of the girls uncover Natsumi's dead body. Uncertain what to do they all inevitably decide to not get involved, they left the crime scene without touching anything and Sato almost gets away with it... Almost....Three days later, brother of Natsumi were able to find the evidence and due to a combination of rumors already floating around about Sato's involvement with his sister, he became almost confident that she was behind all of this, after that he killed Sato with baseball bat. Both of those killings were then covered up by Hope's Peak, a story was created which made it seem like a pervert was responsible for Natsumi's death, and Sato simply died from the shock. This was the event that finally pushed Hajime over the edge, he knew that the school was simply covering it up, so he took the school's offer to be a test subject for "The Izuru Kamakura Project". And the experiments began. To make long story short, the experiments were successful, Hope's Peak had managed to artificially create a man possessing all talents, Hajime's identity during that was warped and he was marked as expelled to cover up his disappearance, the person he used to be was gone, to create this new individual all of his memories, sense, emotions, thoughts and hobbies were shoved down into the deepest parts of his mind, where they were likely never to resurface. The person he was now was cold, emotionless and perfect, he was kept secret from the rest of the world, taught in secret about the school's ideology and about hope, but being so perfect came at a cost, the world became predictable, and he was so bored of it.
9. But the most impactful decision that led to the beginning of the end, was the scouting of the next year's class, Class 78, of course not all of them were responsible for what was to come in any way shape or form. In fact it all came down to a single person, Junko Enoshima. From a very early age in her life Junko possessed an incredible talent, Analytical Prowess, she could analyze any situation at an inhuman pace, all her thoughts were incredibly detailed and her memorization was just about flawless, Junko could predict what people were going to do before they did them, she could tell what made people happy and what made them sad, The world around her was incredibly predictable, due which she became apathetic to how boring it was. This is what caused her to take an interest in Despair, it was the one thing she thought was unpredictable and it excited her. One of the earliest instances of her displaying such a mischief was when she was a child. She and her childhood friend, Yasuke Matsuda, The Ultimate Neurologist, spend a lot of time together, in elementary school Junko had spent over a month building a sand castle of The Sagrada Familia Church, but one day the sand castle was found destroyed, which made her crying the entire day which spurred Yasuke to search for the perpetrator responsible for the heinous act...but he found nothing, despite his best efforts Yasuke was incapable the person who did it, that was until Junko whispered into his ear....that she did it. Understandably confused, Junko asked that he keep it a secret and says that it was just an accident, however this was just another lie. Junko's true motive was much more despair inducing, Yasuke's mother suffered from a brain disease which caused her to forget her own son, this led to neglect and abuse, Junko destroyed her sandcastle to draw Yasuke out of his house and away from his mother, without care her disease worsened and the symptoms with it, he was further neglected absed and it made him ambivalent, distant and incredibly depressed. His mother eventually died and Yasuke blamed the doctors for the poor treatment which is what spur him on to become The Ultimate Neurologist. However at that moment in time he had no one....Except for Junko, he could rely on her and she was more than happy to do same for him promising to always be together...
10. Years later, Junko used her analytical prowess to gain a career as a model, she predicted the hottest trends and gain the popularity amongst the japanese population, Ironically it was because people thought she felt genuine and real. Having grown up her desire to spread despair only grew, no longer did she want to inflict it individually, she wished for all mankind to feel it, and so she began planning on how to paint the world with despair, she couldn't do this alone and so she had her sister, Mukuro Ikusaba The Ultimate Soldier, help her out, and together they became the Despair Sisters, otherwise known as The Ultimate Despair. Both of them were Enrolled into the Hope's Peak Academy as Students, however Junko was an unique case due the way how she was enrolled, The Steering Committee was the one who recommended her, they felt that her talent was guaranteed, she showed so much promise as a fashionista that by enrolling her it would almost guarantee to make the school look better upon her graduation. However as the steering committee does after her enrollment any and all responsibility with regard to her development was then placed on the headmaster. Having now infiltrated the beacon of hope around the world, it didn't take Junko long to get to work, her analytical prowess quickly pieced together hope's peak's recent additions, The Reserve Course, The money it was bringing, Where it was all going, and the steering committee. Junko targeted them very quickly and uncovered "The Izuru Kamakura Project" and her imagination yet agan got to work. What better way to show that despair triumphs above all than turning who's meant to the embodiment of hope into the exact opposite. After the infiltrating the secret lab, Junko had her fateful meeting with Izuru, while her initial motivation was to simply a murder, Izuru quickly questions why someone as smart as her would make such a feeble attempt at trying to kill him which was doomed to fail, Junko didn't really want to murder him, but simply wanted to make sure that all of that rumors were true. And they were, Exactly the same as her, such talent, such intellect has only made the world a boring place, she told how unpredictable and interesting despair is and asks that he join her side so she can show him.....Sometime later, Junko had an another fateful encounter with Ryota Mitarai, The Ultimate Animator, for whatever reason Junko just felt like they were destined to work together... After seeing the work of Mitarai, it moved her to tears, intrigued as to how he can do something so amazing, he divulges his techniques to her and the brainwashing-esque manipulation that goes along with it, while Ryota believed this was fine as he was using it for positive things, Junko on the other hand just got a new addition to her plan...
11. She set up Mitarai in the office of the trustee she killed and made sure he wasn't allowed to leave. With the wheels beginning to move by this point Junko had other plans. While at the core of everything she wished to spread despair around the world, the question was also how she was going to go about doing this, in what method she would showcase just how hopless the world really is. If by her own hand the world would see her as the person who did it, she needed a way to turn hope against hope and that's where she got the idea for a Killing Game, forcing a bunch of Hope's Peak Students to kill each other would show that despite the fact that they're supposed to go on and inspire the world, they'll plunge it themselves by using the blackmail and secrets of these students, their own selfishness and insecurities will get better of them.......and also it was just very entertaining as a concept to her, but like all good plans, it needed a prototype..........And that's exactly what she was off to test. The experiment was The School's Student Council, the cameras were set up so she could watch and record whole thing and once all the pieces were in place, she went off and got Izruru to show him just how interesting despair can be. She laid out everything before them and told them to start killing, while initial confusion and refusal ensued, it didn't take long before blackmail pushed one of them to start attacking. Chao Erupted, madness consumed everyone, whether to keep the blackmail from getting out or for what they would tell themselves is self-defense, one by one they each betrayed each other killed..In the end, one student came out on top, however due his attempt to kill Izuru, who had been watching everything unfold, he suffered an unlucky death, In an uncharacteristic turn of events Izuru was shocked when a bullet the student council member had fired managed to graze his cheek. Despite all expectations, despite how he likely knew how everything was going to turn out, he didn't see that coming, the Despair that he just witnessed was unpredictable, This event would later be known as "The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy". What appeared to be a showcasing of despair to Izuru, she actually had an ulterior motive as well as luring him there was part of her trap, She wanted to have him at scene of the crime to pin whole thing on him, which is exaclty what she did, having recorded the whole thing Junko edited the footage to make it out as though Izuru was the mastermind behind the whole incident and pinned the blame on him, she also used a bit of Ryota's Brainwashing technique and put it in the video as well the footage was sent to every reserve course student along with details about how their money was being spent on the illegal experiments and the creation of Izuru, but besides that they were brainwashed, they gained an increased passion for despair whatever it was Junko wanted them to do they would, but for now she held off and let the natural course of nature play out. The Reserve Course Students began to protest in mass numbers as for Hope's Peak, Junko was actually the one to report the incident to the school, and as usual the response was to bury it. If the knowledge of what happened got out Hope's Peak would be closed entirely. A new narrative was formed, they had said the student council had suddenly been called abroad to study and as for the large gathering of Reserve Course Students, they have dubbed that "The Parade". The Public had no idea that they were protesting and revolting and wouldn't with a name like that...... As for Izuru, despite being the face of the tragedy the steering committee deemed him too valuable to face any sort of consequence, instead he was allowed to get off scot-free. The Building the Incident ook place was closed off barred from anyone stepping foot inside, this would be where Izuru was kept for the time being.
12. The Tragedy of Hope's Peak was hidden to all but one student, Yasuke Matsuda, being the Ultimate Neurologist the higher-ups at the school needed his skills to extract the information from people who mayb have been involved. One of those people he was asked to look into was Junko. Despite pinning the blame Izuru, the suspicion did fall on her for potentially having involvement in the tragedy and so The Steering Committee asked that he interrogate her about the incident. What they didn't know was the history that two shared, Yasuke would never betray Junko...He cared for her so much that he would do anything to safe her. Knowing that now Yasuke was skilled tampering with brains, she wanted him to erase any memories she had involving the incident, this would not only clear suspicion of her but also was yet another test for a future killing game she was planning, Matsuda complied with this however knowing full well the insanity of her, he thought this could be an opportunity to save her, Yasuke didn't just get rid of a single moment in time, he wiped her memories entirely. He had gotten rid of the personality of Junko Enoshima all in an effort to protect her, a new Persona was born, Ryoko Otanashi, The Ultimate Analyst.........However..It didn't helped. Junko knew Yasuke would do something like that, so she had directed Mukuro to disguise herself and pretend to be Junko for time being......Eventually Ryoko snapped back to her true Identity and killed Yasuke, It was her goal, not only blame Izuru, but kill her beloved, it was because she loved him that she killed him so she could feel the despair of losing someone so close to her and with that her plan was a success, with that she returned to her school life as if nothing ever happened.
13. The "Parade" intensifies. The Unrest becomes more worrisome and The Reserve Course Students are becoming more and more aggressive. The stage is finally starting to be set for Junko's Big Game. But probably the two most important figures Junko allied during her time at Hope's Peak were an elementary schooler, Monaca Towa and the potential student, Tsumugi Shirogane (in fact she was unnawear of Junko's plan, and later brainwashed by her as an "additional plan"). Despite her age Monaca held a great power and resources, she was a daughter of Towa Family Group, a leading technology enterpise in the world, but what drew Junko to her was the Despair she felt to her life. At Hope's Peak, Monaca was a part of torublemaker class, she was capable of convincing her friends to commit suicide as a prank with no intention of going through with it herself, but it was on that roof that Junko saved them, she was the first person to ever show them kindness and love, Monaca was fully aware of Junko's manipulation, but she didn't care, Junko made her to mass produce the Monokuma Mascot for her using all the cutting-edge technology, Monaca decieved her father convincing him that they would be domestic helpers and emergency workers, and with that Junko had an endless supply of top of the line Monokuma Robots.
14. One of the students of Class 77-B was subjected to Junko's brainwashing video as well, they became unwaveringly subservient to any and all requests and actions made by her, telling Junko how their class are unified by the effords of Chiaki and their homeroom teacher, Junko started to make another step of her plan. The Homeroom Teacher were captured, tortued and subjected to the despair video, as for the Class.....This Stage has already been set. They were placed in the special trial ground, they were forced to watch how Chiaki, the girl who brought all of them together, mercilessly be forced to navigate through a deadly maze that was trying to kill her, this once again was an another prototype for an Execution premis Junko was testing, there was nothing her calss could do, the Brainwashing was in the live footage kepping their eyes glued to the screen incapable of moving, while Chiaki valiantly defied Junko's attempts at Despair, adamant that she was going to make it through, there is never a light at the end of Junko's Tunnel, just an illusion of one. Just as Chiaki thinks that she's beaten her game giving her hope, spears impaled her body, killing her, Her entire Class falls into despair having witnessed Chiaki's death, completing Junko's plan, completely destroying the Identities of the Class 77-B............But despite having no memories as Hajime, Izuru cries over her death for only second time in his existence he was shocked, why was he crying, he didn't have the answer, Chiaki's words about hope and wanting to make good memories reached him somehow, this was a breakthrough for him, it wasn't just despair that managed to be unpredictable, but also Hope as well, so he decides to tak an interest which one will surprise him more....
15. With despair spreading rampantly the school was being torn apart at the seams and as the cherry on top, Junk then had all of the Reserve Course Students commit a mass suicide, they jumped from the roofs, fell from the windows and painted the pavement with their blood, while they all thought like her, they were nowhere near what she was capable of, So they were completely useless to her. Hope's Peak was on the precipice of total Annhilation, but for the Headmaster of Academy it was to much of a symbol to let fall, he propsed a counter-measure to ensure hope surivved this event, he wanted to barricade him and the newest students inside the school until the despair either ceased or calmed down. The Students of Class 78 all consented to spend their foreseeable futures inside the academy and so they all got to work. They reinforced the windows and made it nigh impossible for the despair to get in, and also to get out. They took up refuge in the old abounded school building that was shut down after the student council tragedy, but the little they know, The Despair was already amongst them, and they were the candidates Junko had been testing all of her experiments up till now, for her next Killing game. Things didn't kick off in the school immediately, as a matter of fact it would be a whole year before she made her next move, pieces still needed to be gathered and find their natural place in the world, in the meantime while class 78 stayed barricade, The world fell exactly into Junko's hands and succumbed to despiar, The rise of the Ultimate Despair Plagued the world and the people in it, Class 77-B were among some of the biggest contributors to helping it. Before long, the Despair became a normal part of society and the everyday person began to cause anarchy, The world effectively came to an end, This event became to known as The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, or simply The Tragedy. To figth back against this abnormal forces two of the people related to the Hope's Peak decided to form the Future Foundation, the organization that would actively fight back against the despair in hopes to restore the world back to it's once former glory.
16. However, during the tragedy there was an another event, That later was known as The Ultimate Hunt. The group og the population of earth blamed the Hope's Peak and The Ultimates for The Tragedy as an result they began to seek The Ultimates (Lil' Ultimates, Ex- Ultimates and Ultimate Canditates) and their relatives and friends, and then kill them, as a way of saving of 16 people who were potential canditates for postion as a student Future Foundation made a "Gofer Project". They were placed in the resrve building known as The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, however...Future Foundation didn't knew that among those potential students, Tsumugi Shirogane, were amongs them, as a result, she was able to cut off the Academy from the rest of the world, killing the staff that was there, After which she used the memory erasing technology, that Yasuke developed, on the surviving 15 students there to make sure they would not remember anything about the Ultimate Hunt, or the Tradegy in general. After that She and the rest students were placed in the cryostasis, until Tsumugi would gain any more instructions from Junko.
17. Having spent a whole year inside of the school It was officially time for Junko to commence her plan, the one person who stood in her way from get-go was the Headmaster of Hope's Peak, Jin Kirigiri, so he had to go. Junko used her Monokuma unit to execute him in "Blast-off" all that was left was her and her fellow classmates......Originally only a 15 of Junko's classmates were set for her next Killing Game, The Killing School Life, while appeared cold-hearted on her end to put her fellow classmates through this in reality she cared deeply for them all it is beacuse she's come to love them through the time, they've spent together through the experiences that they've all shared that she purposely made them all survive the Tradegy, unlike with Class 77-B, she wanted to have personal hand in their despair and treasure it, the more she cares about someone, the more despair she wants them to feel, with the headmaster dead one by one she used the infromation she learned from Yosuke to eare all of the memories her classmates ever had of each other, a whole two years gone, the last thing they remember was their first day at Hope's Peak, exept Mukuro who had disguise herself as Junko, while her sister was controlling Monukuma from behind the scenes, and with that the curtains rose and The Killing School Life of Class 78 began...... At least she thought that until a cetain player joined her game, a person that she knew nothing about, and most importantly...The Person that was nearly impossible for her to read.. Ben Tennyson.
18. Prof Paradox asked Ben for help with Dimension 109, This adventure happened sometime after Ben returned from the Pokemon Dimension. According to him, a certain someone caused a near apocolyptic event on the Earth of that Dimension, So Ben decided to agree to helped him. Professor gave Ben an advice to use a title in this adventure, which was The Ultimate Hero. And short time later, Ben appeared in the place called Hope's Peak Academy, which had a huge metal plates on the walls and other things that were preverting people to get inside the place, but also get out of it, short time later, Ben found 15 students, other Ultimates: Swimmin Pro, Affluent Progeny, Gambler, Programmer, Fanfic Creator, Fashionista, Moral Compass, Baseball Star, Lucky Student, Biker Gang Leader, Martial Artist, Pop Sensation, Writing Prodigy, Clairvoyant and a girl who couldn't remember her talent.
19. The Killing School Life was a bit different from that of the Student council, while Junko were satisfied with the result she didn't like how too chaotic and lacked order, so with Class 78 she implemented rules, these ensured things didn't end too quickly but more importantly also created hope, the sense that the game that they were a part of wasn't permanent and they could overcome it, because the stronger the hope people have, the more despair they'll feel in the end, when it fails. While initially everyone is in disbelief of such a ridiculous setup, this was foreseen and Junko had planned of a way to show that this was serious, she felt things might need a little assistance to get started, due which she blackmailed the Martial Artist using her family Dojo and loved ones as a leverage for exhange in making sure that they were safe, she was to provoke and possibly kill someone to start the Killing Game, also this game were broadcasted to the outside world, yet again to show how the last symbols of hope are going to spread despair. Of course in Junko's case everyone needs a little push and incentive within the year inside of the school the Ultimate Despair had captured everyone's loved ones to use for motive, However the presence of Ben was what bothered Junko the most, she had no Idea who he was and how he even got in....Even though he might have cause problems, this was the thing that intrugued Junko the most as a result she decided to play along, and pretend for a time that's everything was going by the plan.
20. While The Ultimate Martial Artist was meant to kick things off herself, other student outrun her. The Ultimate Pop Sensation tried to kill, however in the ironic turn of events she was killed by the hands of her victim. It is during the midst of this murder that another plan of Junko's was meant to take place, she needed a way to showcase to everyone the severity of following the rules of the game, and so Mukuro was meant to disobey and break one of the rules in front of everyone, as a punishment she was supposed to be trapped in a dungeon in order to set an example to not rebel, however when Mukuro proceeded with this plan, on a whim, Junko decided to kill her own sister for real, impaling her with the spears. Mukuro never expected this to happen and it was a true shock. In the end she thought her sister didn't love her, the truth was the opposite, similar to Yasuke, Junko killed Mukuro because she loved her, she wanted both of them to feel despair, the betrayal of a sister, the loss of a loved one, it was all for a sake of despair. And with that the students understood the weight of scenario they were in, Mukuro was killed and the investigation commenced. Eventually the killer of Pop Sensation was found and then was executed. Due to Junko broadcasting the killing game people from outside world saw what was happening and they wanted to stop it, various others outsider attempted to help the students inside from the cruel game, specifically old staff of the school, and so various attempts were made to try and break them out, but the school's defenses were much too strong.
21. One by one, the students were killing each other, trial after trail, but a little Junko knew about the secret game that Ben was playing behind her back, Utilizing the power of the omnitrix, and some tricks that he knew, Ben was able to save every student that either was killed or kill other, and that lasted long until the end of the Killing Game. Due the fact that Junko were cornered for having broken her own rules, the last class trial rolls and the truth about her identity is unveiled and the state of the world is shown to the remaining Students. Originally Junko thought that the game even though would be entertaining but still predictable, but the sudden appearance of Ben, a person that might seem ordinary on surface but so hard to predict, in the game leaded to the unpredictability and new possibilities, which Junko so desperate craved of. As soon as Ben rolled his trump card, of letting every person that he saved during the Killing game return for the last class trial, Junko utilized the fake evidence that she made to frame Ben as the actual master mind behind the Killing Game and destruction of Hope's Peak. Leaving the rest of the survivors in the tough situation, they were forced to vote for either Junko or Ben, but by the end of it all The Ultimate Lucky Student, Makoto Naegi, convinces everyone to believe and hope in each other including Ben, that no matter how bad the outside world currently is, they can face whatever adversities are thrown at them and with that, all of them vote to punish Junko. She experiences one last immeasurable euphoria of despair, as her plans fail and thus she executed by herself in "The Ultimate Punishment". With that the surviving Class 78 and Ben put an end to the Killing School Life, having used hope to overcome and defeat The Ultimate Despair.
22. It didn't take long time after the escape of Class 78 before The Future Foundation came to their aid and rescued them. As Junko had fallen, those part of The Ultimate Despair around the world followed suit, most committed suicide, comparatively very few lived, those who did were now known as The Remnants of Despair. Class 77-B was amongst those survivors. In fact while Junko had gone through The Ultimate Punishment, resulting in her body being battered and crushed, somehow a certain parts of her body survived the whole experience and was largely undamaged, this is because Class 77-B scavenged her parts to express their undying love for her, like replacing the their own bodyparts with the ones that survived Junko's execution. They would continuously spend their time attempting to carry on Junko's legacy spreading despair around the globe. Makoto and the others were saved by the Future Foundation and after learning their goal of fighting against despair, they joined their ranks, and thanks to the Future Foundation that they got their memories restored to them. One of the major jobs that Byakuya Togami, The Ultimate Affluent Progeny, was the location and recovery of the loved ones captured for Killing Game, and everything eventually led to the Towa City. The Towa group had a large hand in the rebuilding of the world after The Tragedy, but that was largely thanks to being involved with it themselves. Monaca Towa was responsible for the mass manufacturing of the Monokuma Units, she also started creating a brainwashing helmets which controls it's wearers to become obedient slaves. After he father discovered the Monokuma's true purpose and tried to spot it's production early on, However Monica blackmailed him, threatening to expose the fact that the Towa group was responsible for all murderous Monokumas destroying the world, instead she swayed him to her side, she convinced him to continue making the Monokumas as well as weapons to fight against them, however after Junko's Death, Monaca's Father tried to pull out of his alliance but Monaca used the Monokumas to murder him. Her fellow troublemaker classmates dedicated themselves to Junko after she saved them, once she was dead they were lost, It was Monaca who convinced them that they should create a peaceful paradise for children and kill all the adults, for it was adults who made them what they are, At Junko's death, Monaca became the group's leader and began manipulating them for her own goals. She wanted to create a successor to Junko and she thought that the perfect symbol to do so was the sister of one the people who just took her down, Komaru Naegi, she wanted to turn her into a Junko 2.0 and make her a symbol for despair. Monaca allowed the other Warriors of hope to have a little fun and get revenge on those who hurt them in their past, Adults, or how they called them Demons, The Demon Hunting Game was though up where the monokumas and them would go around killing all of the adults to create their child paradise, and obviously the Future Foundation was the obstacle to that goal.
23. So She tipped them off as to the hostages locations and Byakuya's team was lured into a trap. Before you see, while Junko may be gone, she still had an ace up her sleeve, long within her school life with her class she was observing, particularly The Ultimate Programmer, Chihiro Fujisaki, he had been working on the creation of Alter Ego, an AI that could think and react like a real person, through first-hand observation and taking deeper look into the code, Junko thanks to her analytical prowess had managed to create an Alter Ego of her own, an Exact Copy of Junko Enoshima in terms of mind. Monaca was in possession of Alter Ego Junk and placed it into two separate and unique Monokuma units, Shirokuma and Kurokuma, together they were to fan the flames of war, One manipulating the side of children the other the side of adults, yet another tragedy was to come. After the disappearance of Byakuya's rescue team, as well as cute of the connection between Towa City and the rest of the world, Future Foundation send an reinforcement to the location. One among those who went to the Towa City was Ben. Byakuya was able to save Komaru, after which he was caught himself, with future foundation agents being in trap, and Komaru in the city infested with a brainwashed children and monokuma units, however soon she found an ally in face of Toko Fukawa, The Ultimate Writing Prodigy that came with Ben, two worked together witnessing the cruel massacring of the adults across the city, and then reuniting with Ben. As a result this team worked together to not only rescue Byakuya and captives, but also to restore the connection with the outside world and stop the Warriors of Hope and the found Resistance from killing each other. Defeating each Member of Warriors of Hope after another, the truth of the situation slowly becomes clearer, The Adults ahve begun to build up more confidence and resources to fight against the kids and the kids are actually just victims in this, all the same. Everything eventually leads to a Face-off with Monaca who tries to get Komaru to fall inot despair, however it didn't worked cause Komaru inevitably decides to not choose and safe everyone, with team work Ben, Toko and Komaru were able to defeat Monaca and safe Byakuya and others. However Ben's work within the Towa City didn't stopped, after the city was evacuated, Ben used the help of some people that he saved within the city to make a little broadcast to the Remnants of Despair directly, using his lenopan transformation, Gloppelganger, He pretended to be Junko and call all them all to the Towa City. After which the one by one, Ben began to capturing Remnants of Despair, sending them to the place where Makoto was, to put then in the untested psychotherapeutic communication simulator or "Neo World Program", that allowed to put Remnants of Despair in the virtual world and replace their current memories with the ones they possessed before they were attending the Hope's Peak. This attracted the attention of Izuru, who still wasn't able to tell which side would win, and due this he and Ben made a deal, leading to the capturing of Izuru and placement of him in the "Neo World Program" as well. And to be sure of the fact that Program would go succeed, Ben went to the virtual world as well.
24. The original plan of the simulation was that, the participants were meant to collect friendship fragments and become closer together in a non hostile tropical paradise, The AI named Usami was created by the hands of Chihiro which purpose was to be a teacher figure and help guide the individuals advising them on what to do, the second AI would also appeared being someone close to or familiar with the subject in the simulation, in case of Class 77-B, it was Chiaki Nanami. Makoto activated the "New World Program" to the chagrin of The Future Foundation, they considered it an act of treason, however someone within the Future Foundation downloaded Alter Ego Junko in the Virtual World causing yet another Killing Game to take place. And with that the 15 members of the Remnants of Despair were reverted back to their normal personalities before they ever even went to Hope's Peak, which also includes Izuru who returned to his original persona of Hajime Hinata, No Ultimate Despair, No Junko, Nothing, All they had to do was get through the simulation they didn't know they were in. And like a Clockwork, Alter Ego Junko infected the system, locking Makoto and The Future Foundation out from helping and forcing the 17 people for another Killing Game, Killing School Trip. Eventually after the series of Class Trials and killings, uncovering the truth about Izuru Kamakura and The Future Foundation, the ones who survived faced against the Junko herself. With no other Options the few members of Class 78, including Makoto, Byakuya and Chihiro entered the "Neo World Program" to save everyone and initiate the forced shutdown. The rest of class 77-B inevitably learned that they are remnants of despair and that they helped cause the end of the world which almost fills them with despair once more, same goes for Hajime, he learns that he's Izuru Kamakura and this revolution almost completely shatters his mind, it is only thanks to the memory of Chiaki deep down within him and the words about the destiny by Ben, helped push him forward and encourages him to never give up hope, such acceptance merges him and Izuru into one, Hajime's personality remains while inheriting all of the talent of Izuru, this once and for all given Izuru the answer he had been searching for first hand, Hope or Despair, and the emergence and perseverance of Hajime showcased that Hope was the cause he was going to fight for from now on. The Survived members of Class 77-B all remain contempt in returning to the world as remnants of despair, as there's no other option, but despite all of the warnings from both Makoto and Junko, when the forced shutdown sequence is activated and everyone returns to the real world, they kept their memories, they were no lounge The Remnants of Despair, but they had returned to their former life with all their memories intact, with that Hajime chooses to live on, not turning away from what he caused to the world, but also moving forward as Hajime towards a path of hope. Makoto and the others considered Class77-B rehabilitated and leave then on the island they were, returning to the Future Foundation HQ. As for Ben and Hajime, they begin to utilize The Neo World Program in an attempt to restore the rest of the class who died from their vegetable-like state, despite dying in the simulation it didn't actually kill their bodies but made them nigh unresponsive and they were determined to find a cure.
25. However, soon Ben's plans changed, after receiving the call from The Ultimate Moral Compass, Kiyotaka Ishimaru. It was about a facility of the future foundation that was just cut out from the rest, The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, the message was simple, a bunch of Monokuma units were spotted in the area around the academy, but most importantly the globe covering the academy was now opened from it's metallic walls, revealing a birdcage-like frame with a bullet and rocket proof glass walls. Obviously Ben was the best candidate for a person who would infiltrate the building, and find out what happened to the 16 students there as well as solve the mystery why the Monokuma Units were gathering around that place. After Ben appeared on the place he found a group of 16 people, they were Ultimates as well, but the thing is they couldn't even remember how they got in, immediately it gave Ben an Idea what happened exactly, someone used the memory erasure technology that was used in the Killing School Life, however....Soon Ben found out that it technically was not the case, someone not only erased the memories, but also replaced them with a fake memories, a memories of the story about world's end from the virus of alien origin and how the gofer project was about launching people into space to save humanity as a species. However when it came to the actual Killing Game, Killing School Semester, while it was similar to the ones Ben was before, it also had a very strange feeling, a feeling of an imitation, or rather if someone was just following the instructions...Junko's Instructions. Eventually by cooperating with The Ultimate Supreme Leader and The Ultimate Inventor, Ben and the rest were able to reach the final class trial, where The Ultimate Cosplayer, Tsumugi Shirogane, claimed that she's the true mastermind behind this killing game, but not only that, she also claimed that The Ultimates that were participant in this game were nothing more but an Talentless people who agreed to join the killing game, because of the "Danganronpa" and all tragic events of the past were nothing but a fictional stories that they were fan of, However it was an obvious lie, a lie that Tsumugi believed due her being brainwashed by Junko, but after the revealing the truth about that, a True Mastermind behind this game appeared, the one who was puppeteering Tsumugi without her noticing, this true mastermind was non other but a Kurokuma and Shirokuma, Unique Monokuma Units that were puppeteering the events of Demon Hunting Game, but now they were mashed together into a mishmash parody of original Monokuma, they called themselves Kumikuma. But eventually with the assistance of The Ultimate Robot, they were able to defeat Kumikuma, blowing up the cage that were holding them within the walls of the Ultimate Academy, with that The Killing School Semester was officially over.
26. And while Ben was busy with that, Makoto and the others were summoned to pay for their crimes against betraying the future foundation. Despite their goals to battle against the despair, there were still disagreements happening internally, one of the section heads Kyosuke was fighting and leading under the belief that all despair must be wiped out entirely, no matter the cost, while he initially agreed past headmaster, KazuoTengan, began to see the flaw in such ideology, recognizing that fighting despair with violence only births more despair in the hearts of the people, Tengan did tried to discuss it with Kyosuke but to no avail, something had to be done for if knowledge of internal conflict were to get out into the public it would only breed more despair, multiplied by the fact that they were all former Hope's Peak Alumni and Symbols of Hope. Tengan was becoming desperate to find any sort of solution that could pull them all out of this situation, he needed a miracle and that's exactly what he found. One of member of the branches, Chisa Yukizome, a former Teacher of Class 77-B, who was still brainwashed, had been subliminal manipulating Tengan both emotionally and through suggestions, she had give him two flash drives which contained videos Junko used to cause the tragedy, One was Council Student Massacre which is known as the "Despair Video" and other one that was used to make all of the reserve course students to commit suicide known as the "Suicide Video". Chisa told Tengan about Mitarai's Brainwashing technique and how it was used, which planted seeds for the idea that if the brainwashing video was used to plunge the world into Despair, then a brainwashing video could be used to lift it to Hope, by utilizing Mitarai's Technique once more, he could brainwash the world to have hope, thus ending the tragedy once and for all. It was for this reason Mitarai was scouted and brought in as a member of the Future Foundation. At some point in time Tengan did watched the Despair Video and became afflicted with despair, however it affected him differently, he was willing to go to extreme lengths to allow the future of humanity to persevere and overcome Despair, to do so he devised a plan to convince Mitarai to use the Hope Video while also dealing with the internal conflict within the future foundation....The Final Killing Game.
27. Tengan gathered all of the Future Foundation Branch leaders and forcing them to distrust and kill each other, it would in a sense inspire Mitarai to use the Hope Video of his own free will and When Makoto helped to save Class 77-B, who were a Remnants of Despair, it became a perfect opportunity to do so. Makoto and his friends were summoned to the Future Foundation HQ in front of each of the branch Leaders, everything was going according to Tengan's plan, except Mitarai showed up as well, it was unknown why he appeared in this meeting as Tengan had intended him to witness the Killing Game from a safe location, but now he was here, which forced Tengan to improvise. They alal were knocked unconsious and brought to an underground facility which looked identical to the one that they were just in, only this one was a set up for a Killing Game. The Rules for this Killing Game were much different, instead of Class trials, the goal of this iteration was to find supposed mole within the group, every two hours everyone but the mole would be put to sleep and it is on them to kill one person, if no one is killed they win and the killer loses, but all this was only a deception on Tengan's part, there was no victory condition and there was no killer, he instead used the Suicide Video, as a result whoever was closest to a monitor would be woke up and forced to watch that where they would proceed to commit suicide. Everyone was alos equipped with their own special bangle which possess a forbidden action, breaking the action the used wearing it will be poisoned and killed, the only way genuinely win was to turn off the power thus deactivating everything. Another unforseen complication with Tengan's plan was also the unexpected murder of Miaya Gekkogahara, The Ultimate Therapist and the Head of one of the branches, thanks to the minimonokuma robots Monaca Towa became aware of Makoto's Trial and wanted to meet him in the flesh, so she killed Miaya and built a robot copy in her place and infiltrated the Future Foundation. Aside from the few unforeseen complications the plan went off without a hitch, Everyone was successfully transferred and the Killing game began. One by one each Future Foundation member was either killed due to the brainwashing video or killed by their forbidden action, Tengan himself got into a fight with Kyosuke where he decided to expose his own flawed ideology in his own roundabout way he tells him how killing despair is not the solution, only to ironically push him further down that path, Kyosuke came to the belief that Tengan had to be behind the entire killing game as he's the only one who had the resources and wherewithal to do so, but he believes he did this because he was a Remnant of Despair, after hearing the truth Kyosuke snaps and kills Tengan, it's unknown the final words of Tengan, but whatever it was led to the belief that everyone was inflicted with Despair and no one could be trusted, this only proved to further Tengan's point as Kyosuke went on a rampage going so far as to even kill other branch leaders.
28. The finale comes to a close when one of the branch leaders, Juzo, who was managing to hold on to life, shuts down the main power releasing everyone, the final steps for Tengan's plan take action as a video message gets sent Mitarai, Makoto and the others learn that it was he who set up the game and it pushes Mitarai to do exaclty what Tengan wanted, to use the Hope Video to brainwash the world, one by one he gets control of the Future Foundation military and all those who stand in his way, until he inevitably makes his way to the broadcasting center, what seems like an impossible force to overcome is challenged by the likes of Ben, Class 77-B and Participants of Killing School Semester. While Ben was saving the people in the Ultimate Academy, Hajime had been working tirelessly to reawaken everyon from their vegetable-like state, No longer influenced by Junko's Brainwashing, they each can stand and fight for the future of hope, as for the Ben and Ultimate Academy Guys, they joined Class 77-B after Ben got call from Chihiro about the situation in the Future Foundation HQ and from Hajime about the fact he reawaken rest them. Together they confronted Mitarai about what bringing Hope to the world truly means, Despair may be an evil no one wants to deal with, but it's allows Hope to thrive, they extend an olive branch asking that he joined them all, and after some hesitation Mitarai does accept, and with that the conflict is put to an end. All paths collide setting forth a new future for the world to be guided, Hajime and Class 77-B filmed a "goodbye" video to allow the world to unite once more against them, as they were responsible for the World's End. ANd with that Ben, Class 77-B, Mitarai and Survivors of Ultimate Academy went sail, Ben opens up the portal to the place where all of them could have a brighter future, Ben's Home Dimension.
29. Ben's title The Ultimate Hero, was self proclaimed, however if Ben would have happen to appear before all that happening, he's like would recive this title officially. In the first drafts of the story I was thinking about giving Ben titles like The Ultimate Striker (Soccer), The Ultimate Voice of Reason and The Ultimate Motivator. If you prefer the Anime dub version of the talents/the original japanese ones, Ben's talent would be Super High School Level (SHSL) Superhero.

31. In hypothetical the Japanese version, Similar to Hajime during Nonstop Debates, he would use the phrase それは違うぞ (sore wa chigau zo; lit. "That's wrong"), while Makoto says それは違うよ (sore wa chigau yo; lit. "That's wrong"). Using よ yo at the end of a sentence is much more polite than using ぞ zo, which is perceived as impolite and more masculine. So in other words if you would translate it with a bit differently Makoto(Keade and Shuichi) would say "You might be Wrong" while Ben and Hajime would say "No, That's wrong".
32. Ben used the "AI Saving Protocol" of the Omnitrix two times, first time when he saved Chiaki and Usagi from their doom back in the Killing School Trip, and second time when he used it on the Keebo at the end of Killing School Semester. As a result those three survived also survived the game, and Later in Ben's Dimension with thanks of Cooper, they got a new bodies.
33. Due the fact that Kurokuma and Shirokuma were an AI copies of Junko in the animatronic bear body, Herokuma also possess Junko's Analytical Prowess, which allows Ben to predict the turns of the enemies almost in the moment, however it also makes Ben quickly get bored. It also worth to mention that this transformation DOES NOT make Ben have same worldview like Junko had.
34. Herokuma have exact same height as Monokuma, Shirokuma and Kurokuma which is 2'5 feet tall, Kumikuma however is 3,5. Name Kumikuma comes from japanese word Kumiawase, meaning Combination in Japanese and Kuma, meaning bear.
35. If Herokuma would have a Voice actor it either would be Arin Hanson or Dan Avidan. And yes they would have voices similar to the ones they gave in their playthrough.
36. The Original name of the transformation was Midokuma, from word Midori, which means green in Japanese. And the orignal concept art had a scarf similar to the Monotaro. And at one point Herokuma was meant to have a various alternative outfits similar to the Collectable Monokumas from Danganronpa 2 and Danganronpa V3.
37. Of course, If you are a fan of Danganronpa, you must like one specific thing, Executions. And it would be a major misopportunity if I didn't made one for Ben, while for a obvious reason It would not really make sense for at least three reasons (Ben is not from Danganronpa Dimension so Junko have nothing personal on him, as a result the main goal of execution bring the person into the despair would not be fullfilled; The Omnitrix have a failsafes which does not allow Ben to die; And the fact that Ben would not Kill anyone unless he would not have an option), but consider it as just a what if, as for a placement, I would say that this execution would be either the first one (Which master mind would frame Ben, similar to the situation with Kaede) or the Execution of Chapter 5/Final Class Trial. I named the Execution "Hero to Zero". A strangely Calm Ben is dragged out of the courtroom by a chain around his neck, leaving the innocent students in the courtroom. The scene moves to the long corridor as Ben breaks free from the chain as he begins to run to the other part of the corridor, seeing the moving figure that resembles one of the students. Eventually He ends up in the room similar to the courtroom where Ben sees the nearly identical robotical copies of the class. As Ben tries reach the omnitrix his hands ends up being trapped in the shackles, as the robotic copies comes closer to Ben. They start to throw various objects at Ben, from rocks to the blades, as a insulting words about how Ben let them down. As soon as Ben finally frees his left wrist from the shackles it immideatly got chop out. The Class begins to walk away as Ben crawls towards the amputied left wrist but at last moment, Ben's body got crushed by a huge press, his remains got collected by a dustpan and brush, after which it got thrown away to the trashpin with a writing on it "Worthless Trash".
38. You might ask, what exaclty Class 77-B and Survivors of The Ultimate Academy do now, well I will tell you that. First of all Thanks to the helpf of Ben's friend, Jerry from Unhamn Resources, they got a new documents, that allows them to have a normal life. Class 77-B: docs.google.com/document/d/1WA…
39. And Survivors of The Ultimate Academy: docs.google.com/document/d/1CE…
40. Ben still have a few things from adventure in Dimension 109, a crushed head of Kumikuma, One Hacking Gun that he took from Kanon Nakajima, Remains of the Flashback Flashlight....And the most important, a flashdriver with Alter Ego Junko in it.....for now..
