You'll excuse me being in a particularly silly mood recently, but I felt like this would just be a fun one to submit. I was making a tye-dye t-shirt and when I went to rinse it out in the bathtub, all these wicked crazy colors started flowing from the shirt into the drain, and I had to take a photo of it. I think it may end up being more supportive data towards the theory that I might have ADD. Pretty colors...
Anyway, yeah it's not really of any sort of artistical merit, IMO, but I see a few different ideas in it. Whatever. Enjoy the splash.

lol, Modest? Perhaps. But I still can't help thinking I'd love to redo this photo one day. The drain still bothers me, even if the colors are mmmmmpretty.
Of course, knowing my luck, the new one would be total crap! Sigh.

I think that the drain works pretty well. for photography it's pretty dang good! those colors are awesome! out of curiousity, how did the t-shirt turn out?

The t-shirt turned out well! I haven't worn it for a while, but I've gotten into yarn dyeing (commercial) more recently, so dye is still part of my life.

Sorry, but as a matter of principle, I won't "check out your page also". I dislike people who leave vapid and, in your case, obviously irrelevant and completely unthoughtful comments on my work, just to get pageviews. Do some proper commenting, for Christ's sake. Actually contribute something interesting or meaningful to the community, before you demand the same of others! Learn what constitutes a decent comment before you spam everyone and earn a poor reputation.
If you're not willing to try, then please don't bother. With college, family, a boyfriend, med school applications, photoshoots, volunteering at a hospital, tutoring, knitting holiday gifts, maintaining multiple sites, and more, I am far too busy to waste my time on someone who won't even bother to make an effort to engage me in discussion, or to even tell me properly how they feel about my work. Again, sorry, but good luck next time.

No artistical merit? Hardly.
It's beautifully composed, the lines of colour make a really interesting piece to look at. And it's nice and crisp. Really really cool.

The soft colors of the left contrast very well with the harsh silver pattern of the drain; furiously attempting to resist all colors from changing it.

i really like how the bathtub is sooo clean and white. at first i didnt know it was a bathtub, possibly because ive never seen that kind of drain in a bathtub, but besides that i really like it. its totally artistic. some of the best art is accidental.
