Description
This is a commission sketch I just finished of the lovely Buffy Summers. The client requested a "busty Buffy" which I was fun. ...my job does not suck.
Sarah Michelle Gellar is always a fun likeness to draw, and my wife is a huge Buffy fan so I've sketched her a bunch of times, but this is the first time I've taken her to a near-finished pencils stage.
Not only is Sarah fun to draw but she's very easy thanks to her unique facial features. Her features amaze me because they are very odd (large drooping eyes, short jaw and of course the nose) but some how work very very well together. I personally think she is stunning. A true one of a kind beauty, but I'm almost sure that if mixed with other more "idealistic" facial elements they would not look as pleasing.
I'm including a high-res download of these pencils for the newly formed Comic-Colorists Group.

You definitely nailed the charming look of buffy and love the way you have her hair flipping, certainly brings out that pretty girl behind the slayer.
Kudos though on the very slick linework and same goes to your just your overall styling of the vampire slayer to look so damn real. Your style certainly adds to her looks and nice touch on the perky chest with the added stake, well done SquirrelShaver.

You actually had to give away the original, aren't commissions just they pay you and you draw them the pic?
Can see how you would have had a tough time letting this one go of Buffy even just looking at the lines and just how natural everything look shows you had a very cool and calm mind drawing her, bravo.

Wow you'd be the first deviant here who would do something nice as that, wow! One friend said he would mail his out but hell its been 3 years and he still has yet to consider doing so, lol.
Oh not a problem at all, really fascinated looking at artwork as smooth and stylish as this, don't worry about it. ^_^

Noses are a bit tricky especially on girls. Just them small with simple and minimal lines.
