Description
This is something I did about a year ago just for kicks and for some reason I never got around to posting it. At the time I was sort of in a rut and needed to pull out all the stops break loose and just do something I really wanted to do.Some of you who were able to pick up the 2010 sketchbook I put out last year may remember it from there, but as far as I know it's never been posted online so a lot of you may have never seen this before.
Public reaction on this has been mixed; some people love it and others think it's a little too raunchy, but it's one of my personal faves because it's not product or commercial. I rarely get to draw for myself or just for fun so it was nice to do something that was purely expressive.

The mouths were heavily references, but everything else was memory. I used to have a thing for tonal drawings when I was younger.

I dig your arts and even more so with this post given your reasoning and motivation behind it!! Thanks! I went through the same with the rut and needing to do something more for myself and expressive, non-commercial etc, thus I ended up creating a whole other account for that reason along with the associated (themed) commissioned works.
Even though I enjoy drawing the obligatory works, drawing with no restrictions (still within DA ToS of course) really loosens me up and gives me more motivation to draw either way. Thanks again! Nice indeed!
