Pencils for a cover I recently did for Fathom #8 with Aspen Comics featuring iconic Aspen Mathews as what we'd all hope to see perusing the rooftops this Holiday season.
I did this cover on a whim between issue #3 and #4 of Soulfire. It actually started out as a Brisk Summers holiday piece before I approached my editor with the idea of doing a Christmas themed Fathom cover this year. I erased the ears and tail from Brisk and changed the face and hair a little (still working on getting my Aspen Mathews look down).
This piece is also being distributed as a free incentive print with a qualifying order on the Aspen Comics store! [link]

Wooooow - dude, I saw the pic before I read the description and thought, Hmm, looks like something Mike Turner would do - but a better face. And it seems like it's at that girl from Fathom - and then, BOOM, I was right! Wow!
Lol - i haven't read Fathom in years. The last issue I read was when Mr Turner was still doing it. Great work, sir. Excellent work.
