Heh, I've been kind of obsessed with birds ever since I saw a Northern Bobwhite chilling at the edge of the woods the other day.

Ooh! Northern Bobwhites are pretty. I've been obsessed with birds ever since adopting Papageno as one of my characters. That means he lives in my head. I used to hate birds, you know. Now...bit of an obsession.

They really are~ My friend and I want to raise some, but, unfortunately, we both have cats who will very likely eat the poor things. So...we'll stick to fantasizing about it for now.

A lot of my characters get me obsessed with things. My two 19th century Englishmen got me into tea. I had previously been a hardcore coffee drinker. I still am, but with the added tea. HEART ATTACK, HERE I COME!!!

Strange how he does that.... Oddly suspicious. Heh heh, I'm trying to get my library to get the version of Die Zauberflote with Simon Keenlyside. My boss was like, "Go onto Amazon and put stuff into the cart, so we can get more stuff for the library! 8'D" So...Die Zauberflote is in Amazon's cart and will hopefully be approved for the library. These hilltowns here need more culture!

I don't think the whole thing's available online, which is why I ended up purchasing the DVD. It's a really great performance. There's one point where, after Tamino is silent while Pamina is saying that she'll kill herself because she thinks he doesn't love her, Papageno says the equivalent of "Nice job, asshole" to the prince. It was like HO DAMN!

Well, that would certainly explain the gaping holes between scenes I've seen. *snaps fingers* Well, I noticed my boss's Amazon cart was empty (don't worry, she lets us go onto her account, I wasn't snooping), so maybe that means she bought the opera, after all! 8D; I certainly hope she did.... Bahaha! Oh my, that must be marvelous to hear from Papageno!
Damn that Starbucks shit. I've heard it's disgustingly overpriced. Illy, eh? Never heard of it, but, perhaps someday, I shall find a brand I enjoy...!

Yeah, Starbucks coffee just tastes burnt. Their beans are too dark because of that.

Hmm...I don't think I've ever met anyone who likes burnt cookies. I like burnt salmon skin, but that's about it. :/ Burnt coconut flakes are good, too, though.

It's when you've already eaten the salmon and then you have the skin in the pan where the muscle flaked off. It's SO GOOOOD...it's also where most of the nutrients are.
