Np
And fffff I love them to death. I wish I could draw different face shapes and stuff, but I always fail at it. -_-

Ach, it's so hard to draw different-looking people; I had trouble with that for the longest time, but you know how you get out of it? Try a different face shape every time. When we sketch, we fall into patterns, so try making artistic decisions you'd normally never make. See where it takes you! You might end up with the worst-looking person you've ever drawn ORRRR...the most interesting.

Well, I HAVE drawn the same characters as animals, and it's interesting because as long as you keep the eyes and the eyebrows the same, anything else can change and people will know it's your character. Or at least that's how it's worked out for me.

Heheh, I guess I have to get used to it. Sometimes if I try that, they just look wrong to me. Like, they looked better with my generic "pattern shape."

Yeah, it takes a lot of tweaking. Once you have this new shape though, you can adjust it accordingly.

Cool. I'm also gonna try learning to draw realistic people (which I'm assuming you've tried at some point, too?) because I don't even really know how to think outside the box when it comes to human faces.

I actually started out in realism and have only been drawing cartoons for about...four years. Sorry, had to think hehe. I only started cartooning when I got to college. I highly recommend sketching from real life; it'll improve your drawings incredibly. There is so much variation in the human species and you can't really call them to mind until you see them. Go to a public place and jot down some of the people you see. I can't stress how much this helps; it's absolutely vital if you're going to be designing characters.

Channeling real life into your cartoons helps you immensely with developing your own style because it's all about how YOU exaggerate the features you see in nature instead of copying someone else's style. Yes, it's hard to get them not to notice or to jot something down as they're walking by, but it helps you to learn to draw fast and to keep your eye out for the most distinguishing features on a person.

That's the spirit! It's amazing how much your art improves when you sketch from real life. Give it a try!

It's pretty good. Definitely stylistic, and more of a "what if..." kind of movie. Very fun. Feel good in a violently vengeful sort of way. I enjoyed it a lot, but you can't take it too seriously. Sort of like Kill Bill in WWII.

tamino basically doesn't do anything. i was so mad at him because it was papageno who rescued pamina, so she should go with him!! instead she goes with the "prince" and papageno is left alone crying on his loneliness

Yeah, Tamino doesn't even rescue his own princess. That's okay though, because Papagena is so adorable. :3

Thank you very much! Your subject matter is very interesting. It's sort of terrifying going through your gallery, but in a very wonderful way.
