Commissioned Acrylic painting on a 16 inch elk skin hoop drum.The client wanted something wolf and raven and this is what she got! I love commissions I can have full rein on the creativity. It enhances mine to meet the challenge.

Her father was a Barbarian from Mount Arreat, and her mother a Khanduran blacksmith. I'm currently writing a story, and the wolf and raven symbolism will play a big part, along with the owl.

OK I have to chime in here haha. I am the VERY VERY lucky owner-to-be of this GORGEOUS drum (yay!!). I couldn't have imagined anything better...it fell together so perfectly and I can't wait to have it on my wall! You were SO RIGHT Sandra, to wait until the energies were right...it MORE than paid off!!

I really, REALLY like the color gradations on the moon phases, and on those gorgeous ravens. The texture and color on the wolf's face is also wonderful. Excellent work, and so beautifully balanced.
