Despite having a pretty hard life, Juka remains curiously optimistic. There's just a whole lot more to life and she's excited to see what it holds. Even when the times are dark, she finds that she can still hold onto hope. While she's lost a lot, she's still able to believe in what the future could hold. It's hard for her to really be negative about the future, though a lot of it's due to the fact that she restrains a lot of emotions. Regardless, she's content with believing in good things.

Despite how... dumb she sounds half the time, Juka is actually a really clever she-cat. Her ability to develop battle tactics and be strategic is actually pretty incredible. She has a very quick-working mind and finds it easy to develop strategies to keep the cats she's working with or herself from getting hurt. She's quick to understand a lot of things and finds it easy to incorporate them into her ideas and plans. While she might be obnoxious, she's naturally gifted at developing different strategies and is a good choice when planning for battles or hunts.

Juka is a really persistent she-cat. No matter how hopeless the goal or... whatever it is she wants, she will keep trying to accomplish it. She can be a really, really stubborn she-cat at the best of time, though not to the extent of some others. It's more of a she is unwilling to give up in her quest to do something or annoy someone, which generally tends to result in making light enemies. She's a pretty annoying cat, but at least she has goals. Of course, she will let up if the situation really calls for it, but she tends to... not.

Juka is a cat that has a very loud and bright presence in her community. She tends to make herself known more often than not through the use of her super loud voice. She loves being the center of attention and is definitely a cat that draws others to her. She tends to be very verbal about... everything. It also ties in with how dramatic of a cat she is. She just loves attention and being the star of the show. Of course, she will be quiet if need be, but most of the time she's definitely not. She's just got a naturally loud and obnoxious presence.

Juka is unfortunately a very deceptive cat, though it's in a way that many wouldn't expect. She's... very, very much a liar when it comes to stuff regarding herself, particularly when it's her past in question. She doesn't like others knowing about some of the more difficult parts of her past, and she especially doesn't like others assuming why she acts the way she does or the like. She's very good at keeping her facade up though, so it's very unlikely that anyone could really discover some of the more ugly details of her past.

- Born to Sovn and Alduin in the Enlightened alongside Kasporio and Loki.
- Loki is stillborn.
- Their two remaining daughters are doted upon.
- Sovn dies a few days after giving birth.
- Alduin is deeply saddened, but continues to love his daughters unconditionally.
- They were given to foster moms to feed them.
- Happy childhood with many moms. It's not too bad. Juka has some weird internal issues but it's fine.
- When they're 3 moons, Alduin is found dead. Yikes.

The going had been rough lately. Uncharacteristically so.
She had passed out in the snow, left to the mercy of the elements and the creatures that roamed the lands. Death should have claimed her, yet it didn't. Instead, her niece had found her, along with her friend. Her memories of that period were bleary, something of which bothered her a lot, due to how out of it she had been. Given she had been starving to death, it was not the most unexpected development though. The hot-blooded Light-Triber had essentially shoved food down her throat, forcing her to eat each day until she could function. How the hell the apprentice had managed such a feat was beyond her, but she was grateful regardless.
But...this whole situation had some problems that came with it. Apparently, she had essentially disappeared off the face of the earth, no fresh trace of her able to be found. She had left them due to her body's weakness....but she was here now. There had to be some sort of relief that came with that.
It took ages for the adolescent healer to deem her safe to leave, but once she was, she worked on heading up north. Her heart was begging her to go east to Water-Tribe, but she had to let her brother know she was alive. The trek was agonizing still, given how weak she was, but she eventually made it home. Her brother's reaction had been what she expected; worry, tears. He had wanted so dearly for her to not go out again, but the desperately pleading look on her face made him hesitate. Stevie needed to see him. Finnick. The cold claws of fear gripped her heart at the thought of potentially going over there and being told something had happened. She didn't dare think further than that... She couldn't deal with that.
So, with that, she had begun the walk to Water-Tribe, steps still uncomfortably wobbly due to her weak legs, but at least she could walk. The closer she got to his tribe, the more fear swirled around in her belly. What if's, thoughts she rarely entertained, danced around in her head. It was such a paralyzing fear... never had she been more scared over the wellbeing of another. He was too important to her. She refused to ever lose him.
She would beat death's game if it ever came down to it.
It was with weary steps that she finally entered Water-Tribe's camp, dull gaze flicking about, brightening as desperation began to fill it. Where was he...? Her throat felt like it had seized up, as if she couldn't draw any breath in. With her steps quickening as much as she could, she made rounds to some of the dens, having forgotten where each profession was located. It was within one den that she finally spotted him, breath catching in her throat.
He was so painfully thin, but so goddamn beautiful. He was alive. A shuddering breath escaped her, weakly stepping into the den. There were a few moments of silence, the gradually getting wobblier sound of her breathing the only thing she head, before finally she spoke up,"Finnick..." His name was uttered with such intense emotion, relief, happiness, love, exhaustion among other emotions embedded deep in each word.
