Wow, you did an amazing job with this! I mean, the colors simply clash in such a wonderful way Using bright colors is a nice touch to this pic... the sketch was waaaay too dark and emo in comparison to this What program did you use to color it? Photoshop?

Heheh, I couldn't help remembering Lilo said once she hated pink, but it actually fits her, somehow

I liked a lot too the colorful border of the pic. It does remind me of Benjydale's works

aw, thanks.. yeah I use photoshop, I remembered she hated pink right after I uploaded it , yupp, the bright colours were inspired by Benjydale

Wow, I especially love the colouring in Lilo's and Nani's hair. I've always imagined that very black hair reflects a bit of blue. Vibrant colours and background as always This is your first piece on your new Wacom Bamboo isn't it? With this Ally, you have sold me the Wacom!

lol "Nani" is actually lilo's mum.. I made the same mistake when I saw the original sketch Nice to get a positive comment on the blue in their hair.. I wasn;'t so sure at first... Of course the background is inspired by you, all your pics are bright and colourful, I wanted to do the same
As for the tablet, I did a few practice pieces first, I have one of Shanti from the Jungle Book.. she's the second cutest next to Fluffy Lilo

Sorry for the mistake. That makes 2 of us now Yes, the blue in the hair was something I picked up on waaaaaaay back in 1994 when I was heavily into Aladdin and Jasmine. About inspiration, I think we have inspired each other, and we are learning from each other too!

I totally agree with you there Ally on Shanti!! I do have a thing for natives in general. One of my life time ambitions would be to meet a native Hawaiian

1994... thats the year Lion King came out .. I agree with the inspiration thingy, its good to make connections on dA as it helps improve our skills

lol, I didn't catch up with Lilo and Stitch till about a year ago... i'd seen it but never drawn the characters
My friends thought I was kinda crazy coz they were all Stitch fans but I was more drawn to Lilo
