I confess that it only just occurred to me to post this to the tutorial category. As such, for those of you who missed the first portion, you can locate the first set of screenshots here. [link]

While not what I would personally consider a ‘tutorial’, this -is- a walk through of my most recent painting and as such, apparently belongs here. Meh.

Not much to say about this one as most of it is typed right out on the walk through. The reference image I used is from chamberstock as outlined elsewhere. You can locate her lovely gallery here. [link] The reference image itself can be located here. [link]

If there are any questions, feel free to sound off. I shall answer them as best I am able. Please keep in mind that I am not a Painter expert. Far from it. I work very simply in Painter, but I am happy to share what I do know with whoever is interested in it.

The Beach Baby tutorial I made ages ago (horrible tut, that. I’ll have to go back and see if I can re-organize the beast.) outlines my basic process so I had just been planning on posting walk throughs of paintings and offering text on what I was up to during the process rather than going over and over what I had already offered a forever ago.

I have another painting in mind that I plan on starting immediately but after that, I have no ready plans. Thus, if anyone has one of those characters they want painted ( a simple painting, people. No massive undertakings or uber complex pieces, please.) sound off and if something strikes my fancy, we’ll collaborate and paint you a character
