Description
The idea for this guy is a dwarf that lives in an urban setting among humans. He trims his beard like a human does. The humans gave him the nickname Stout. Dwarves are hard to draw because of their proportions. I often see a fantasy dwarf drawn with regular human promotions for the upper body and arms and then short legs that make them look like an amputee. Stout here isn’t perfect... but what I do is draw the bodily promotions of the Thing from the Fantastic Four. Then if possible I draw tall a tall person or monster next to them.
