As we approach the holiday period, whether you celebrate it or not, I want to wish each of you all the best for the coming year

Thanks to everyone who faved my work, commented and participated in my competitions. You guys are awesome!

2022 has been a tough one for me but my wife has been amazing in her love and support while my health has been bad. I may have been ill but it did give me time to do some art and writing so it's all good.
Very much looking forward to opening the new items for my collection tomorrow too

So, a quick picture to celebrate the holidays and as Jazz said "It's snow joke!". Hey, it was the 80's, terrible puns were allowed!
Done with polychromos pencils and built up in layers, utilising my pressure application and layering techniques, the picture consists of 20 colours.
Jazz's head was done with sky blue, black, cold grey 6, warm grey 2 and warm grey 5.
His body was done with white, dark carmine, helioblue-reddish, black and warm grey 2.
His left arm was done with black and warm grey 5.
His right arm was done with white, black, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
His right leg was done with white, sky blue, dark red, cold grey 2, cold grey 3, cold grey 4 and cold grey 6.
The snow that had fallen on him was done with white, light ultramarine, sky blue and cold grey 1.
The Ark was done with white, phthalo blue, sky blue, gold ochre, terracotta, black and burnt umber.
The rock was done with nougat and burnt umber.
Finally, the snowy background was done with white, phthalo blue, light ultramarine, sky blue, helioblue-reddish and warm grey 1.

Completion time: 3 hours, 19 minutes
