Ok this was my Halloween costume from this past year (2003). the evolution version of Shadowcat. Kitty's not my favorite character but i have the hair too pull her off. It's the firts costume i've really made meyself. I think it turne dout ok, there are a few things i'd like to make improvments on but over all iw as happy with it. I just wish i would ahve gotten my Lance and Kurt Plushies made in time to carry with me. ^_^ The only think that REALLY drove me nuts was that 90% of the people who saw me thought i was Jean at first and I HATE Jean with a passion. Though one guy made me happy cause he knew i was shadowcat. ^_^Related content

It's nothing special really. I threw it together in a couple hours. I took a long sleeved black t-shirt I already had and added a collar and cuffs to it. Then I made two long triangle pieces to add to it so I could make a body suit out of it. After that was done I put the make shift bodysuit over black leggings. Made the belt out of some left over yellow fabric and felt. The boot covers where just fabric I hot glued together over a pair of old vinyl knee high boots and attached them with some elastic straps around the bottom of the shoes. It really was just a last minute Halloween costume with minimal sewing and a lot of hot glue.
