"My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know."I was watching Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes (some of the episodes are on youtube if you're interested)...even though there are things I don't like about his portrayal, his face is very Holmesian and also his eyes are pretty much amazing. So I whipped out this portrait, which took roughly two/two-and-a-half hours. (I'm working on this intensely detailed render that's taking FOREVER and is KILLING me, so this is like my downtime, haha.)
Hm...I don't think I quite did him justice, but that's okay. Hope you like it!

Simply Fantastic. I LOVED Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. I am a HUGE fan of Conan Doyle, and this series was to me the quintessential video for the books. And you did so well capturing him.
If you are interested, watch "My Fair Lady", the film with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison, (one of my favorite films btw) and you will see a very young Jeremy Brett in this film. (Bet you knew that already)

I have seen them both. I am a big fan of Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed the Robert Downey version. Although I thought I would not when I saw the trailers. I thought you would know about My Fair Lady. I love that film so much. For a lot of reasons, but mostly it is a happy ending, I am a sucker for a happy ending. But I have to confess, it is the gown she wears at the races mostly. I would love to wear that. And attend such a thing. Silly yes?
