Description
Design sketch for Faranic, a charismatic and manipulative personality. He is capable of granting certain wishes in exchange for valuables (if its something he can't do, he'll simply ask for the impossible in return). He posesses a fairly accurate locating ability, and eyes which can identify a person's desire.He claims to be gathering the night life around the world to unite and cease the warring between factions, but in reality, he's far too avaricious to care about the general public's welfare. His origin is in a small grove of rare flowers used in magical cantrips and brews. As the caretaker, he was bound to the grove until he tricked another to take his place.
Faranic's toting around Setheryll's staff and wings because Seth found himself desperate enough to barter off his most valued posessions to keep a promise to a relative stranger.
SQUIRREL! It's name is Mr. S until I find a more suitable title. Faranic's trusted servant and messenger is a.. Squirrel. Talking squirrel. Hey, Mr. S can do espionage too.

does he, by chance, reflect the hindu god Ganesha? I only ask because his servant is the squirrel, and Ganesha's is a rat... except ganesha rides on the back of the rat (and sadly for the rat, the god is an elephant faced many armed figure).
it seems to me for each new character you bring out, more and more clothes keep coming off

Unfortunately, Faranic wasn't meant to resemble Ganesha- though that god sounds like one neat egg. I need to check out Hindu mythology some time. I've been occupied lately with Chinese figures, ever since I went to China. xD

Yup! The staff and tendril-feather-things don't have to be included. As for the tattoos, they only show up in the dark. xD I think.. That's about it. Feel free to ask any questions!

Those tendril-y things coming off his belt are wonderful. You always put such fantastic detail in everything. I'm a bit iffy on the forshortening of the arm/hand, though--it just looks too short rather than forshortened.

I agree! Especially when I look at the arm shrunk down on my screen, that error is easier to spot. I think I'll redraw that rogue limb before I try and colour this thing.
Those tendril-y things can become wings if you know how to work them. They're decorative, purposeful, and very easy to trip over. :3
