so this is what i've done with my weekend. hey, i had the days off, so it's not like i'm skipping work to play it or anything.

i am one of maybe four people who did not jizz themselves everytime they heard the word 'skyrim' before the game was released. i hadn't played an elder scrolls game before, so i didn't really know what to expect, and i hadn't looked into anything about the game before it was released. talked to a friend on the day it was released on steam, he decided to buy it, i bought it on a whim too.

totally don't regret it.

i've been having so much fun and i've barely progressed the plot at all. i haven't joined the stormcloaks or the legion, but i've accidentally become a werewolf, i've bought a house and crammed my single chest full of useless shit that's weighing me down but i can't bear to get rid of since i've sold so much shit the merchants are out of money, i've used almost all of my lockpicks breaking into people's houses, stolen gold from under the jarl's nose, been mugged for killing a chicken....and i don't plan on stopping there. the game is so beautiful and incredibly open ended that i never mind getting lost, because there's always something new to find. i never walk on the roads because nothing stops you from adventuring wherever you want to go. i'm really enjoying this game a ton.

so here's a quick doodle of my character. she's a redguard chick who wears heavy armor and always uses a sword and shield because i'm too retarded to be sneaky. sometimes i dick around with magic but my skill is too low for it to be very effective. sadface. i really enjoy how you can do any playstyle you'd like and you're not locked into a class. like, i'm very warrior-y, but i can still sneak and pick locks, which are really rogue-centric things in other games i never would be able to do as a warrior. i'd actually planned to try and rogue it up, but this is just suiting my playstyle better.
