Description

The Talyllyn Railway

Running through the valleys and countryside
Steaming past the flowers and fields composed
Of beauty lies a Railway that takes pride
In the blessing that it had never closed

Railwaymen cared for the Centurion
As though it were a lost treasure of gold
For travelers and the historian
It is a line that in words can't be told

Through forests and mountains the Railway goes
The Coaches comfortable allow you
A great picture of the world known to those
Who love Nature and the Steam Railway true

I would not ever know where to begin
In portraying through word the Talyllyn

Thank you very much. I love it when others are made happy by my writing. I shall hopefully have a chance to ride aboard the Talyllyn Railway this summer.

I promise. Each engine, particularly of steam, I shall photograph on each railway I visit. I am also hoping to see the Isle of Man Railway, the Bluebell Railway,Β and the Ffestiniog Railway, where I hope to see Duke's relative Prince. And I hope to ride in first class carriages on each of the railways I travel aboard.Β

Unfortunately, a friend who rode the Isle of Man Railway before said they don't have "First Class" carriages anymore. Instead, all of the coaches have upholstered seats. Oh well. Β
