This is a great picture. But why should they be worried? This looks like America, and those are B29's.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was away from my computer and any Internet connection for the whole Summer season.
Answering your question, Diesel City is only a very dark, threatening alternate universe that only looks like America...
Thank you very much for your interest in what I do, anyway, and the kind words !

I see. Well it is very well done. It reminds me a little of the games Bioshock and Crimson skies.

I've been told, indeed, there are some similarities in what I do with Crimson Skies. The vintage look, I guess... Very flattering, and so is your intelligent, sensitive appreciation of what I try to convey in this graphic stuff. Thank you very much again. It means a lot to me.

No problem. Than you for your kind words. I'm actually planning on writing a novel centered around an alternate reality where airships are used as a primary source of trade and passenger travel. They also come to be used as flying battleships and aircraft carrirers as WW2 starts. No I'm not ripping off crimson skies.

So, maybe you'lle like the latest picture uploaded to my gallery,"Para Bellum"... ?

Pretty good. But the Airships in my story are made from steal and iron and are held in air by more advanced means. They are literally "air-ships"

Thanks. See "Pegasus IV" in my gallery : this airship is made from metal, but I'm not too sure about how it is held in air, I must admit...

Not totally sure about how mine are kept up either. I'm juggling the idea of some special machine that increases the lift of the hydrogen but I'm still not sure.

I like this one.
It inspires me for the background of my first digital painting.
Thanks a lot !

Yeah just that perspective thing looks little bit off if they are supposed to be normal-size war bombers/airplanes.

Also, these planes must be huge from perspective point of view
