Wow! I've only seen ones that big in zoo's! That's not counting Tuatara in the wild (well reserves) but they're not exactly lizards.

Not Lizards, but still pretty big guys... There were big meter long Iguanas hanging around in Mexico when I visited there though

Tails are part of their body... usually.

Cool, have seen Komodo Dragons in Australian zoos. They are a sight too behold.
