Description First, my apologies! This is a really sucky scan. The image is too big to for my scanner bed so it's a copy of a print that didn't come out too well! I will replace as soon as I can!!

I would like to add that the original of this sold at Duckcon in Chicago! YAY! I can pay rent!

I was lying on my bed just sketching and this lovely lady just showed up. I enjoyed doing the stone, and I was really pleased with how her wings turned out.

There are also lots of odd things hidden in the ring of framing stones, some of them are actual Inca carvings, some of them cute, others slightly rude. So zoom in and take a look see.

Done in prismacolor pencil.

Love the textures of the colors, as well as the details in her face, hair and wings

Nice work

There is so much in this picture! It’s really amazing! One could spend hours looking at it, really!

Another beautiful nod to "peacock" type layout, but much richer and vastly more rewarding to gaze upon. The border is an exercise in "eye candy" (Too many cool bits to comment on) and the center stone ring is a similar wonder. (might it have looked better yet with another color layer?) She is soft and smooth and nearly welcoming, though there's a hint that perhaps the tourist had better watch that welcome closely. Even the ferns are soothing to behold.

Just beautiful. The purchaser in DuckCon should surely consider that they snagged a treasure.

Yep. I have no idea how to use photoshop or corel draw. I'm lucky I can scan my own artwork. :laughs: Besides when I went to artschool, the computer was the enemy that was going to replace us all. Looking back on that, it seems really silly, but that was the big worry. So I really never learned how to do much on a computer. Just me and more colorpencils than I can count.

Thanks for the fav!

Wow! I love those butterfly-wings! Coloring and those colors are so beautiful.

Only that right arm bothers me I really don't even know why... Brow hair and blue eyes... exotic. ^_^

I really have to fav this.
