Description
The DVD cover for "Godzilla vs. Smaug", suggested by GrendelExe. A while back, I did post a fan made poster for the idea, but that's pretty much all I did with it. I had thought a DVD cover for it was posted, but as it turns out, only a poster was on here. As for the plot, it sort of reuses the original idea for the 2014 Godzilla film. In one of the original drafts of the script, Godzilla's arch-rival King Ghidorah was the central enemy of the film, and was awakened from the Arctic and later battled Godzilla. The idea was scrapped for two reasons. One being is that the scene in the Arctic was too similar to a scene in "Man of Steel" and the other being director Gareth Edwards didn't think Ghidorah would fit into the realistic world that he was going for. Obviously, Ghidorah has since been confirmed to appear in later films by Legendary, along with Rodan and Mothra. For the time being, it's not exactly known whether all of them will appear in "Godzilla 2", or if it's just one or two of them. In fact, there's a rumor going around that Ghidorah will appear in "Godzilla vs. Kong", which means he'll be the threat that Godzilla and Kong have to team up against. Again, that's just a rumor, so it's not set in stone as of yet. Guess we'll just have to see what happens. Anyways, the MK match up is next.
