I made this poster based on this trailer: [link] I used Cthulu because the uploader didn't tell what it is the two monsters would be fighting. I think the premise is good enough for Toho and Daiei to make this a movie. I think this is a better premise for them to fight then work together as oppose to them just fighting throughout the film. I'm not actually the one behind it. I just made the poster for the idea. Apparently, the guy who made the trailer is either writing it or working on some novelization of the film for G-Fest. Shame, since I'd really like to see this come to life, but Toho would never allow it.Β

oh really? huh I thought you were the one making it yeah it's been years since I first saw the trailer for it on youtube and couldn't figure out why I haven't seen it I guess the guy decided to cancel it or has been messing around.

Well, I think the thing is that even if he did write the script for it, there's a lot of legal stuff he'd have to get through to get it made. Toho would be the main issue since they're not big on Gamera appearing with Godzilla in a film, which was actually proposed to them around the time Final Wars came out.Β

actually if the guy just used clips from movies like some guys do with their fan films back then then he wouldn't have any legal problems it's simple as that.

Probably, but then again, Toho did flag Death Battle's video on Godzilla, so he might have some trouble there. But I think he actually wanted to have it become a real film and not just a fan edited one.Β

nice, I saw the trailer and loved it as for the premise, if these two had to team up then Cthulhu is a perfect enemy to make them work together
