Description Thanks to my brainy DA friend, Immy-Is-Thinking
([link] ) for the inspiration for this piece in the Origin series.

I haven't decided whether it is complete yet or not - still contemplating the centre and whether I need to do fine dots in the central black area to tie it together better.

Holy squeaking frogs, that's beeyooootiful! It looks a little bit like the worlds most intelligent sea urchin crossed with a starfish.... And at A2 a giant one at that...

Well, I'm glad you like it. Did I ever tell you I work in marine conservation so sea elements do sneak in every now and again.

I do indeed. And no i didn't know that! I have sometimes thought your other pictures have marine elements though... I watch waaay too many nature documentaries about deep sea life and plankton and coral etc etce... I'm amazed how many interesting scientists I meet on dA. I often wonder how many more biologically inspiring pieces I see are by neuroscientists/marine conservationists/any other sciencey types?

Marine documentaries are addictive. Be careful!
