Family: Orphan
Background: Jaimie Thurston was a Mexican immigrant who was orphaned from the Cartel killing is family. He fled the border and from the police, was made a ward of the state and sent to an orphanage. Immediately, he had made friends with a young boy named James Talbot, and Tobias Tomalski or Toby for short; one was an average boy and the other a chubby fellow who was rather brainy. Compared to the two, he was the only scrawny fellow. They were the three musketeers and had helped one another out: James was the skills, Toby was the brains, and Jaimie was the muscle, considering he was good with his hands despite his build, making him quite the craftsman and artist. The trio were also friend with Sarah Porters, a female troublemaking tomboy, a book-smart girl that could rival Toby, Veroni Dinkleman, Ming Pen, Darci Whattz, and to Jaimie, Sarah’s muscle, Greta Classmar: a girl he had a crush on ever since being in the orphanage. Together, all six were pretty unstoppable as each helped the other, as well as each having the dream of staying together having adventures in life.
Then one day, while they were on a field trip going to the Yellowstone National Park, a strange earthquake erupted, creating a fissure-sized portal that sucked them and a few others in it. Jaimie suddenly fell out of the bus, along with some others, James being one of them, as he fell down far down in a forest below.
Groaning, Jaimie finally woke up, though not on the bus or in Yellowstone or near it. As he got up, he looked around, seeing that he had awaken in the strangest of places: a jungle with a mix of forest elements. And from the looks of it, deep in the mountainous region of an unknown site to him. Wandering around, he came to a lake to which to get some water, but trouble soon came out, as he realized he hadn’t eaten anything at all. Looking around and wandering around, he managed to find what was possibly a huge bear. A dead one. Though with no tools or anything to cook, his hunger overruled all safety rules. He cut it and ate it raw, despite it being dead for unknown reasons.
Though that night, his body shifted, grew and changed to become taller and bulky, as well as furry. Once it was done, his body had changed into the form of a large and powerful humanoid bear man. Though his mind was still in control, as he slowly and happily reveled in his newfound strength and health. The next morning, he awoke to find himself human again, but his build was stronger and taller. Unfortunately, he was without any clothes as they all shredded off, and had to make do with the fur of the bear he had taken a bite out of. Taking the fresh meat of the bear with him, he looked around to try and find any help at all.
He did though when he spotted a cave, and almost got attacked by a starving and weakened Greta. At first, she didn’t recognize him but then his gentle nature clued her in. Helping her up by carrying her, he walked in the cave and saw that she wasn’t the only one he found. In the cavern was Eldon Edders, Kurt Stahl, Rosie ‘Ros’ Isley, Leif Fergus, Kizzy Krendel, and Whitney Briskette. And like Greta, they were all starving. Quickly and without haste, Jaimie went out and hunted meat from a variety of beasts, and brought back all the hides and meats from all. Though before he could cook it all, in their hungered states, they ravaged through the uncooked meat, even Greta did as well. That night however, all changed in their respective creatures that they ate. And then then next morning, they all awoke, fully changed back to their human forms, though stronger and better looking… and sadly naked without any shred of their formal clothing.
Scraping together rags and clothing, Jaimie and the others set out to find the others. A week later, they saw a huge blast of heat and ran towards it. Once they did, they saw a strange flaming wolf-like being like them, standing over a giant dead red flaming bear monster. Once the being awoken, Jaimie recognized the voice of the creature: it was James. And after sudden shock, James saw it was Jaimie. Both returned to the temp base that James was at, and there, they saw that James was based near a village, of which they freaked out along with the other classmates, including Sarah Porters, who recognized both James and Greta.
Once things had settled down and the explanation of the situation, Jaimie and the others teamed up to help them out. Afterwards when all things were taken care of, and the colony of Green-Forest was forged, Jaimie became head of the Construction and Heavy Hitter sect, Wreckers. He’s considered James’s right hand Hammer Man.
Personality: Despite his appearance, Jaimie is an outgoing, friendly, and kind person. He’s the gentle giant of James’s friends. He’s easily the friendliest and kindest guy you could ever meet, and often can be seen as a tie-breaker. Or more likely the guy who gets in between a heated argument if it gets violent. Despite his immense strength and power, he at times has a hard time wanting to fight at all, unless there’s a good reason behind it. However, if he gets angered, the bear in him riles up, making him pretty scary and with nothing being able to stand against him.
Growing up in the orphanage, he has a close bond with his friends, particularly with James and Toby, of whom form together the Three Musketeers as they’re teased in being called, but later are called the Tri-Beasts. He also is infatuated with Greta due to her tough girl attitude and strength, but also sees the kinder and sweeter side to her when she wants to. Though he also connects with Eldon as both turn into big strong versions of themselves, a hard-work ethics, as well as laid-back relaxing moments. He’s actually quite gentle and friendly with kids, which makes it easy for the kids to run up to play with him.
When protective of others, he can be headstrong, aggressive, and loud, such as when he attacked the Stone Serpant when it rampaged around, he was unrelenting in his mission and focus. He’s also quite humble despite his strength, size, and power, but will sue all three of his position to inspire courage and hope in those who have learned to live without it.
This shows that Jaimie is still himself despite the power vested in him when he became a Were-Bear and evolves later into a Stonebear Were, as his power is used only in the service of others. Jaimie is altruistic, focusing on helping his friends by any means necessary, whether as a cook, a carpenter, and so on. He is often with James the voice of caution and logic among the others. Despite his originally timid demeanor, Jaimie's initial bonding with Greta brought out his more cavalier and enthusiastic attributes, revealing the warrior within him.
Jaimie tends to be something of a culinary snob, as he was quick to dismiss as when others claim that grilled fish, being the only meal in the village, says they need more variety. Due to this, Jaimie can often be found cooking in his downtime, experimenting with ingredients, much to his general success at creating dishes suitable to blow your minds away. Jaimie takes immense pride in his cooking skills and is often annoyed or peeved when someone criticizes his work.
Going through combat training with Twilight, Diana, James, and Ginrou, afterwards he has described as ‘toughened up’ and became more willing to take charge of a situation and shows that he acts like a shield to clear a path for others. Even though he went through this training of Hell, he still remains as the gentle soul he is.
After his evolution to Stonebear Were, he embodies in many ways the elemental Earth affiliation. His strength, endurance, fear of heights, and protective and kind nature are the qualities of said element, and also serves as a foundation to his friends.
In his most embarrassing flaws, Jaimie has a fear of heights that mostly forms in the form of air sickness, causing him to barf on multiple occasions.
He’s also not good with women suddnely flirting with him, aside from Greta.

Were-Bear Physiology:
Super Strength: As a Were-bear, and due to his size and muscles, Jaimie possesses great strength. He can easily lift a grown man with a single arm, unintentionally nearly smash through a barrier of steel, and carry logs as large as his body and slam those respective logs into the ground with a log-sized staff with little effort. Even after his evolution and that he became a little smaller, he still retains such inhuman strength.
