Description
I originally designed this sword to start to burn at the tip when moved quickly, as well generating a whip like tail that would lash out on an enemy.I also tried to capture the elegance and sophistication of a mythical Japanese sword, and wrap it in european design sensibilities.
I also felt that Bards didn't always get priority in terms of creative treatments when it came to cool items as compared to warriors for example, so I tried to come up with something special for those who play bards in EQ.

I wouldn't say it looks Japanese, necessarily, but it's definitely an amazing mixture of eastern and western sword design, and that magical effect seems really original and interesting!

Youve gotten my attention with the mention of the "ebony scimitar from Morrowind". Embarrased to say that I have not played much of Morrowind, though I have a copy waiting to play when I get a sec.
I have also not seen the sword you mentioned before, and I am not having any luck finding a pic of one online.

Heh, when i made a bard character on Ragnarock Online, the best weapon i could get was a guitar so i could whack guys over the head with it, cast "song" spells, and shoot arrows using the strings...
I WISH THEY HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR A BARD IN RAGNAROCK!
